Adam was drawn to it instinctively. He was naturally aware of its existence, but he did not pay any particular mind to it since it was just a satellite. It did not have any particularly groundbreaking benefit for him to look into. But for some reason, when it entered his vision, Adam could not help but be attracted to its beauty.
He felt a longing for the Moon that could not be described. His core was pulsing powerfully, churning all the liquid flame inside him into a raging river. He could faintly feel that some underwater volcanoes on Earth were also spewing magma, causing minor tremors on land.
He could not help but want to touch this lone celestial body. And as Adam drew closer to the Moon, he looked down at his bare body to find a grand monolith standing tall as though defying the very heavens themselves. Yes, he was hard as fuck.
The shock he felt was immense. He was planet!
How could he feel lust or even the need to procreate?
But then, it hit him. He is the Progenitor of the Anima Mundi, the literal father of an entirely new race of lifeforms. As the system said, he was the Beginning of this lineage. So it was only natural that he would instinctively want to create more Mundi.
He understood that from the beginning. What he did not expect was that he could possibly create more Mundi by having sex. Even weirder was the fact that he was literally lusting after the Moon, a mere fucking satellite! It was not even a planet!
As he set foot on the rather cold surface of the Moon, he slowly began to calm down. Whether or not he could procreate like other living beings was something he would have to prove in the future, but that would only be after he had managed to create more Mundi the way he originally planned to.
After all, he did not know what kind of complications would result from him mating with a being that was not a living planet. At best, his mate would just explode from the sheer amount of power that would be growing inside her womb.
At worst, the child becomes an abomination that would threaten the balance of the Universe. And that is not something he could accept. He was trying to escape the fate of apocalypse. Why would he create one himself?
Adam crouched down, his hand sliding across the surface of the Moon. It was cool to the touch. Its pristine beauty was being etched into his memory. The longer he remained there, the more he yearned for it. It was truly too beautiful.
He looked to the distant planets in the Solar System and found them less desirable than the Moon. He thought he might just be feeling this way because it was the first celestial body he was seeing up close other than himself, but that did not seem to be the case.
For the other planets in the Solar System, he only felt an urge to devour them. It was nowhere close to what he felt for the Moon. This was his sole companion, and he really wanted to sow his seed in it. If only it was a planet.
"Wait..., maybe I can do that? But what about the potential risks?"
Adam tried to think of all the dangers of his outlandish thought, weighing the pros against the cons. But at some point, his mind was just unable to proceed with such thoughts anymore.
He could only think of how beautiful the Moon was, how amazing it would be to have her company. Yes, he had already begun thinking of the Moon as female. Upon realising this, Adam sighed.
Honestly, he was afraid of the potential apocalypse that would result from this stupidity of his, but he really could not control himself at the moment. It seemed that the power behind the title of Progenitor was as much of a curse as it was a blessing.
From his hand that caressed the Moon's surface, Adam released a unique power that he was instinctively wielding. It was a mixture of his core's energy in the form of a stream of liquid fire and the unknown power of the Progenitor.
The two mixed together, seeping deep into Moon until they reached the very centre. It was not like the centre of a planet where a core would be. Instead, it was just like every other part of its body. There, the mixture of two powers settled and began to condense into something reminiscent of a core. But before they could change anything, a strange phenomenon occurred.
The cold that blanketed the dark side of the moon moved like a patient viper, striking at the forming molten hot core. The core did not break, but instead was filled with a deep chill that was somehow growing colder and colder with every passing second.
In just a minute, it had already surpassed the coldness of Antarctica. The former golden flames also turned into icy blue flames that seemed to light up the surface of the Moon with a mystical and ethereal glow. It now looked like a sanctuary for fairies, far away from all the taint brought by civilisation.
Adam continued supplying the necessary power for it while drawing from the near limitless reserves of his main body. After all, he only needed to spark the formation of a core in the Moon, not to fully create it. This was something he instinctively understood from the knowledge given to him by the Universe. And after an hour, there was finally a change. Adam immediately stopped supplying his power to the Moon's core and checked the new notification from the system.
