Argh!!
Derkile woke up in the middle of the night panting, he was in severe pain. 'oh no , what's happening to me again. And why now, when it remains a few hours before the selection day'
Derkile thought.
The sharp pain, he felt in his stomach, sometime ago had came back, but this time it seemed to be worsening every second.
"Aargh!, just what in the world is going on in this tummy"
He said, trying to sound angry, but his angered face was covered in pain. After a while rolling on the bed, the pain didn't seem to disappear like last time, and was getting worse. Derkile knew it had something to do with his new powers, but he just didn't know what was happening to him.
It got to a time he couldn't control it again and jumped up from the bed, his feet walked towards the open window, and then something strange began to happen to him, while groaning , his eyes began to light up, and was glowing yellow in colour, hair began to grow around his body, his teeth sharpened, and his nails turned into claws.
In this state, Derkile began to understand why his stomach always hurt, because of hunger.
Not hunger for normal food, but for another thing which he was yet to know. But he could sense it was all around the him, in the building.....
The last thing he figured out, before he totally lost control to this state of his, was that the thing he craved for, was probably flesh.....

A totally different Derkile, with yellow glowing eyes, and body that matched that of a beast with a huge figure could be seen jumping out of the window of the building, and with ease landing on the ground without difficulty. A normal person would have broken their legs from the jump. But this state of Derkile didn't seem anything like that.
The figure moved into the darkness, searching for something, something he sensed nearby. And that was when he spot it. A horse could be seen tied to a pole and resting, not knowing what awaited it.
When the beast spotted it, he didn't wait to think and dashed with superhuman speed towards the horse.
When the horse noticed something rushing towards it, it tried to neigh loudly, but before it could do that, the beast had attacked it, using it sharp claws to slice it's head off within a couple of seconds, the beast stared at the dead horse, and started to dig it's claws into it, and munching on the flesh of the horse.
After a while, the beast took his head up, it was filled with blood. A smile on its face.....
Derkile woke up again, on his bed, so it was actually a dream, and it felt real. But when Derkile felt a liquid substance on his face, only to check it, and see blood. He paused for a second before remembering that in his dream there was also blood on his face.
That was when he realized that it wasn't a dream and was actually real. It's seemed like that was why he felt those pains...
There was a lot of thoughts going on in Derkile' s head, but the most disturbing one now was that he needed to clean up before the morning. He was quite glad it was a horse he ate, maybe if it was a human. The story would have been different....
He knew that once he became a soldiers, he would have access to meet sorcerers, and maybe from there he would be able to finally, know the source of his strange powers.
He was already acting strange lately, and a thought came into his head that he was probably a ghoul . But still his powers and that of a ghoul didn't seem to match.
He started getting sleepy and decided he probably to a little nap before the selection started as he was already tired from the evening that happened few minutes ago.
Just as he was about to lay on his bed, a tingling sensation went through him and a sound echoed throughout the building like that of a bell, it ringed into everyone ears , and Derkile immediately understood that the selection had began.....

I am very sorry for not updating on time, I was very sick for almost a month now, and just recovered thats the reason. Pls continue reading, as I told you, the story is going to get more interesting and interesting with time, just be patient please.
