Mean while, back in the kings palace, a group of 3 people could be seen staring at a strange object, one of them was the announcer who took part in organizing the selection process.
They seemed to be able to see what was happening in the battlefield from the palace. The object was a strange yellow orb. It was able to capture the scene from the selection field.
" Hmm, they don't seem to be able to handle those beast. I think the king was a little bit harsh by setting up such type of test, at this rate in which people are failing , I think no one will be able to pass the test"
A man said, looking at the scene. He could see that do we having a tough battle, and more and more people were losing.
" The King's orders are quite strict for them, why the hell did he have to change the last tests beasts from the one eyed beasts to the double eyed beast, knowing fully well that they probably wouldn't be able defeat them without their source being discovered "
A guy in a a black cloak said, his face couldn't be seen, but by the sound of his words, one would have known he was annoyed.
" But the only way for us to find proper soldiers is by letting them go through this process "
The announcer negotiated with the guy in cloak.
" So, tell me what if no one passes the test, then what next. Another selection??"
He asked coldly.
"Then probably we won't have any soldiers this year, it's not like we are having any battle or something, we are only preparing for the worst "
He said carelessly, swinging his hands in a ' I don't care ' manner, and pausing to hear the reply.
" .... So.. so what you are trying to say now is that you don't think the evil is coming anytime soon "
" Yeah, like when last did you even here of them, like about 14 years ago when the battle occurred, and since then when last have we heard of these , the earth just got divided for no reason in particular, who knows the evil might be probably de...."
He was cut short by the man who firstly spoke.
" Don't say such, the evils are much alive and are still coming..., anytime from now.."
He said, sounding hysterical.
" And how do you know that, are you a sorcerer, even the sorcerer's who could sense them don't seem to sense their presence , so why are you acting like this ?"
The announcer said, staring at the man who's eyes had travelled beyond normal, he was seeing what no one else could see .
While they were all discussing this, no one noticed that while the others were struggling to fight, at the back of the battlefield completely, another boy was busy fighting with ease, using his supernatural strength and speed to kill the beasts .
That was the time when Derkile rushed and jumped unto the platform, he had picked up the rod and threw it at the beasts, but luckily, al that time they were engrossed in the discussion to the extent that they didn't notice him. It was when the rest of the people had gotten onto the platform, that the announcer spotted this.
" Look!!, how the hell did does kids get there?!"
" Probably through the help of a ladder?"
" But when I saw the ladder last, it was on the platform, so how did get down??"
" Hmmm, well maybe it was on the ground, and you just forgot...., as we all know you have memory problems"
" Hey!!!"
" Look, it seems like they are planning something, perhaps they have finally figured the problem out..., maybe we will still have some winners this year "
" Hmmm, let's see about that "
The cloaked man said, watching intensely as Derkile was busy explaining the plan to the people.
' who is this kid, and why do I see this strange aura around him.... I need to keep an eye on this boy after this selection, something seems familiar...'
