Mean while back in the battlefield...

Derkile and the others has already gotten down from the platform, and they arranged their self in the shape of a triangle. They were tightly packed in a close formation, Derkile was at the front, Luna at the side of Derkile, and another skilled person was at the other side.
Derkile had explained the mission to others, and they had proposed he stood at the front since he was the one who insisted the plan, after more and more thinking, he told Luna to stay by his side and another guy who he had noticed that he was also good in using a sword like Luna, so he stood by her side.
Bane stood at the back of the Three of them, so far the 4 of them were the only people who were skilled in the whole of them. He just hoped Derkile plan would work, or else all of them may end up blaming Derkile for their failure. Deep in his heart, he trusted Derkile and hoped that his plan would work.
" Ok everyone, ready?!"
Derkile asked, and everyone prepared their weapons and we're ready to charge. Derkile hoped his theory was correct, and it would be easier than thought.
" Charge!!!!"
And all of them charged, rushing towards the spot where the beasts came out from, Derkile was restraining his speed and was trying to run at normal speed. The beasts seems to have noticed that the rod they were attacking didn't respond to their attacks, and they lost interest in it.
Once Derkile saw that, the beasts were no longer attacking the rod he threw and we're no heading towards them, he quickly yelled onto the others.
" Don't let them get to us!!!, keep running faster!!!"
They kept sprinting and the beasts kept following them, they soon got to a point where they were about to reach the point. The beasts coming out of the hole began to rush towards them instead, and now they were surrounded by the beasts.
" Keep running forward!!, wait until I say it's ready!"
They kept sprinting forward until they had almost collided with the beasts coming from their front, suddenly Derkile screamed.
" Now!!!"
And everyone, closing their eyes kept on sprinting and held their weapons forward, they seemed to be calm, very calm. And something surprising happened .
Their weapons began to light up, and bright light shone from it. They had actually used the method a man taught them recently. They had activated their weapons....
They had now become more stronger and faster, and were killing the beasts easily. Derkile had told them that if they need to get through the hordes of beasts, they would have to activate their weapons.
While the others were fighting, Derkile, Luna, Bane and the other guy were continuing to run towards the hole, killing the beasts that got into their way, but it seemed like the beasts were more focused at the people fighting at the back because they seemed to be more than those sprinting forward.
Derkile had figured out that, the two eyed beast didn't seem to have intelligent as they were only two eyed, and were already mind spelled to only do one particular thing, so Derkile figured out this was an advantage to them .
Derkile and the others were now close to the hole , and were about to start attacking whatever was making these beasts.
Bane was the first to reach the hole and was about to attack when suddenly he hesitated, his eyes were filled with dread, he seemed to be visibly scared. He quickly retreated, Derkile wondering what happened to him until he and the others saw it themselves.
In the hole, what could be said to be a large skinny beasts just like the others were seen inside, but instead of two eyes, Derkile couldn't believe it but while he was still stunned, he counted the total of the beast eyes to be 12, 6 in the right and 6 in the left.
The beast was seated still on the on a rock, and out of his large mouth, the 2 eyed beasts were rushing from it. Derkile and the others, just like bane quickly rushed back to a safe side where bane was standing, he seemed to have not recovered from the shock and the blade in his hands were shaking due to fright .
Derkile couldn't believe it , it was even 2 times stronger than the beast that almost killed him in the forest a few days ago.
' why would they expect us to be able to kill such a beast ' . Derkile thought, even he was pretty sure he could not be able to kill such a beasts, even with his special powers.
Derkile didn't know what to do again, he wanted to take another look at the beast, and when he stepped forward a hand grabbed him from going forward. When he turned around he met Luna holding onto his arm.
" Where are you going??, do you see know that we shouldn't have followed your plan, probably if we had kept on fighting , perhaps it would have been better, but now your plan just made it worse!!"
Luna said, a little bit of heat in her eyes. It's seemed like she was angry, well it was no surprise to Derkile as she was the only last person that hesitated when the others had agreed. It took a lot of time to finally convince her but now it seemed like she had taken back her agreement.
" Look, I know you are not happy but just have faith in the plan, I promise we won't fail...."
Derkile said, very seriously, and soon she left go of him but still her eyes told him that she hadn't given back her agreement and was going to be expecting.
The beasts continued to rush towards the other people, Derkile felt sorry for them. He needed to figure out what to do quickly...
He moved towards the edge of the hole, at a safe distance where the rushing beasts wouldn't spot him and took a peep inside the hole.
There it was, the 12 eyed beast that was responsible for producing multiple 2 eyed beasts. For some reason this beasts remained stiff and didn't move, until the answer popped into Derkile curious mind .
' The announcer said the beasts in the test were programmed by sorcerers to do a specific function, perhaps the beast couldn't do any other thing apart from producing those beasts, yesss!!, Derkile you are a big genius!!!'
He thought, and then without no fear anymore, Derkile walked towards the hole and wanted to jump into it.
" Wait, what is he doing??, don't tell me he is about to jump into that hole?, is he crazy?!!!, he wants to get himself killed!!"
The other boy that had followed Derkile yelled.
" I trust Derkile, he knows what he is doing"
Bane answered calmly, his facial expressionm had changed from a one of fear to a one of excitement.
" Perhaps we are actually going to pass this damn test after all".....
