Well it looks like I still can't appraise it. But at least I know the lesser dream stalkers should be easy enough to deal with. I just have to find a way to deal with the bigger one.
I look back at the tunnel rat still laying on the ground tangled in spiders web and dash towards it. I don't know how much xp I need to level up but the tunnel rat is reasonable strong so I'm hoping to kill it and gain enough xp to level up.
I don't know what level that bigger spider is but it doesn't give me the same feeling as the giant one I fought earlier so I'm hoping it's just a level or two stronger than me.
I quickly use bite on the still struggling tunnel rat, biting straight into its neck. it doesn't die after just one bite so I quickly give it another, before the spiders get out of the shadow I summoned.

Damn! it wasn't enough!
I just need to hope that the bigger spiders not to high a level for me to do damage to or I'm going have to try and find a way to escape.
I look up and quickly jump to the side as a web comes shooting at me.
The bigger spider has finally gotten through the shadow I summoned and is running straight at me shooting webs in the process.
I summon a shadow ball whilst dodging the web and shoot it straight at the spider. Surprisingly it manages to dodge and jumps towards me trying to stab me with one of its legs.
With dash still active, I manage to dodge by jumping backwards and firing another shadow ball towards it. Due to it being so close it fails to dodge in time and my attack hits it on one of its legs.
But this doesn't matter, I quickly control the shadow to move up and cover all the spiders eyes and quickly dash past it. I'm aiming to take out the lesser dream stalkers first. There nearly though the shadow I summoned and I need to take them out before they can join the fight, otherwise I really won't have any chance.
One of the lesser dream stalkers, noticing that I'm coming straight towards the shots a web towards me whilst the other simply hisses, as if it's warning me not to come any closer.
I use pounce, jumping over the web and use bite directly on its head, crushing it with my jaws. I was taste a mixture of blood and what must be its brain in my mouth.
Its tastes revolting, nearly making me gag but I ignore it turning towards the second one.
I need to hurry up and kill it, the bigger one has somehow already got rid of the shadow blinding it and is already closing in on me.
I use pounce again jumping into the air and use scratch, bringing my claw down on its back sending it flying across the floor.

I fell the familiar warmth healing the wounds I got from the giant spider earlier, when I suddenly feel a strong impact on my side sending me bouncing across the floor.
The bigger spider had just struck me with one of its legs, causing me to go flying.
I quickly get back to my feet immediately jumping to the side to dodge another web that had been shot at me, and summon another shadow on the floor just in front of the spider.
At times like this I really with I had some kind of ranged attack, my dash skill only has about a minute left and I doubt ill be able to get close enough to the spider to land any hits on it with out the bonus speed.
Dashing towards the spider I again use pounce jumping into the air. Aiming at its body I use scratch, hoping the downwards momentum will add to my attack power.
My attack land on its body leaving three deep grooves along its side.
The spider hisses in pain and swings one of its legs at me, again hitting me in my side, sending me flying away from it.
I yelp in pain as I'm again sent bouncing off the floor.

I ignore the system notification and agin get back to me feet, just as a strange orb of blue light comes flying straight into me.
A wave of dizziness come crashing over me and my vision doubles, causing me to see two of everything. I feel the same sense of unease I felt in the illusion before everything goes back to normal.
That must have been some type of illusion magic, luckily I have illusion resistance otherwise I might have ended up trapped in an illusion again.
The illusion might not have been successful but if was enough for me to loose concentration, causing my shadow magic to end and the spider not wasting the opportunity was already pouncing on me.
I tried summoning a shadow shield but it was already too late, the spider was already upon me.
It bit down catching one of my front legs in its mouth.
"Ahhh!"
I screamed in pain and instinctively used scratch with my other paw, scratching across the face of the spider, popping two of its eyes in the process.
"Hisss!"
It hissed in pain and let go of my leg, backing away a few steps.
I fell backwards, another wave of pain washed over me as I tried getting back up onto the only three feet I could stand on.
I could no longer move properly, making it nearly impossible to attack.
Through shear will I summoned another shadow ball, sending it into the spiders face, and started hobbling towards it.
I watched as it used its own shadow to try and attack the shadow that I had summoned, trying to get rid of it.
once I was close enough to it, I used as much power as I could muster with three legs and jumped.
Using bite I managed I managed to bite the same place I had used scratch on before.
"Hiss!"
The spider hissed in pain and fell on its side.
Still holding on for dear life, I used my remaining front paw to use scratch hitting its head repeatedly.
It was a do or die move. I wasn't able to do anything else at the moment and remembering how I killed the petrifying lizard, this was all I could think of.
Sure enough after the fourth scratch the system notification came.
