In the morning chill, Leios and Ava walked along the path lined with cercis trees as they headed to work, just as they did every day. The sun's rays filtered through the branches and leaves, casting dappled shadows on the cobblestone. As they walked, the wind carried the sweet scent of flowers, and amidst the sound of their footsteps on the cobblestones, the melodies of birds filled the air.
Like the previous day, Nemesis had disappeared in the morning without explaining where she had gone. However, this time, they didn't dwell on her absence, as they were becoming accustomed to it. They still didn't know Nemesis's true intentions, but that didn't concern them much since she hadn't yet acted suspiciously. In fact, she had even volunteered to join them on their journey to learn more about the demons. [Although Leios was somewhat coerced by Ava]
