Chapter 1 - The Past

All her life she had always felt what was in her heart, but couldn't express it. Who would believe what the gorgeous celebrity would say. An Orphan favored by the Milfords?

No matter how hard she tries to express it, no one would believe her.

But, she wasn't intrested in telling her story. She just wanted to salve her guilt, after all, she had murdered the man who favored her during her trying times.

Ten years of guilt would finally end only if she was able to win his dream contract over.

It was quite strange, thinking of the way she had seen the note that contained his dreams but... She had to fufill it anyway. This was the only thing she could do for him.

There was one thing one could say about her and it was very clear... She despised the masculine gender.

Brimingam international airport.

3:45pm.

She slowly lifted her head to look at the person who wouldn't take her eyes off her.

It was the air hostess.

After realizing that she had been caught. The hostess immediately gave a smile that exposed her beautiful white set of teeth.

'Nice to meet you, Miss Milford'

'Huh, yes, nice to also meet you' she replied with a smile.

'Do you mind taking your conversation elsewhere, I have to take sit.' the deep masculine voice came from behind the hostess who walked away the moment she heard the last word.

Sabrina stared at the rude and obviously arrogant man with a frown on her face.

He gave a mocking smile and sat next to her.

She inwardly cursed her faith as she adjusted uncomfortably.

'He is going to be a pain in the neck' she mumbled.

'It's a flight to California, why are you get so worked up now?' he said with another smile, Different from the previous one.

'I do wonder who could have broken the heart of such a lovely woman. But I suggest that I shouldn't bear the grunt' he said slowly.

'You are talking way too...she paused and her mouth opened slowly, realizing the obvious meaning to his statement.

'What? Dumped?'.

From what she could spell out, he had no idea of who she was. And she was ready to make him realise.

'I know you very well, Miss Milford' and it would be very stupid of you to have the misconception about my ignorance'

'Anyone willing to switch seats, please?' she asked fustratedly.

'You are making it obvious that you have never been on a plane before, maybe not with a First Class ticket' he said with an arrogant smile.

She reluctantly resigned to her seat. But, after taking a quick glance at his face, she realized that for the first time in ten years she didn't feel scared of a man, instead, she felt anger.

She grunted loudly, and the attention of almost everyone on the airplane was on her.

'Unbelieveable' she muttered and scoffed.

Luckily, it was time for the pre-flight instructions, so, everyone attention was diverted from her, including herself.

After the listening, his eyes met with hers and the only thing she heard him say was "You are dwelling on your past and it will only hurt".

But, she couldn't argue, she knew he was right and her silence gave her out to him. For some moment she felt vunerable but it reminded her of her ugly past.

She stared at the world underneath as the plane took off. And she got reminded yet again, of the only memory she had always wanted to forget.
