I was stiff and my head throbbed, but something seemed to push me, or drag me, back to myself.
I had the feeling I'd been dreaming of something important though also strange, but the more I tried to grab for it, the quicker it slipped through my fingers.
Fine. Dreams were always like that. I let it go.
I cracked open an eye.
"Good morning."
My mind swam as it tried to place whose familiar voice that was.
I bolted upright.
Then nearly keeled over.
"Take it easy! Don't move around so fast," chided Moira, coming to my aid.
I winced then slowly lay back against the head of the bed, still making sure to keep Moira in sight.
"What…?" I managed to croak. My throat was raw and speaking made me cough.
