It was interesting getting to see the Silent Star's facilities in a more official capacity and not one from just sneaking around. For one, the entrance with all its metal paneled walls and modern lighting design made quite the impression as did the little cleaning robots that shuttled around, only barely avoiding tripping up everyone. But perhaps the most impressive of all this was how the vast majority of the facility, like how Aron and I had postulated, was underground. Only the building where I'd woken up in, and now Aron was sleeping in, as well one other building, were above ground.
Moira strode forward, leading us down the belly of her beast, white lab coated researchers parting before her like the sea for a ship. They all knew her and seemed to genuinely respect her, or at least were intimidated by her. If it was the last one, I understood entirely.
