Ms. Flinch was taken aback by Alastor's unwavering confidence. A flicker of doubt crossed her mind. Could he actually afford this apartment? Regardless of her personal skepticism, Alastor was still a client, and she was obligated to fulfill his request. They left her office and headed towards the apartment building.
However, upon realizing that Alastor hadn't arrived in his own vehicle and that they would have to use hers, her initial doubts resurfaced, stronger than before. The sliver of hope she had entertained briefly vanished completely.
After a short drive, they arrived at the apartment building, a large structure housing numerous units. Ms. Flinch led Alastor to the apartment in question.
Alastor took his time inspecting the space. Everything was to his liking. It was luxurious, spacious, and, most importantly, located in a much more desirable neighborhood. This was a significant upgrade from his previous living situation.
