"Nothing. They seem to have been brainwashed. We haven't been able to extract any information, even after extensive interrogation. We're at a dead end," the masked woman said, frustration evident in her voice.
The three masked figures fell silent, each lost in thought.
"This isn't good. Another dead end," the tall masked man said, his voice grave.
"Tell me about it. Every time we think we're close to finding them, we hit a wall. It's like chasing shadows," the masked woman replied.
"At least we know they're here this time. We need to be careful. These people have considerable wealth and power," the second masked man cautioned.
The three masked figures nodded in agreement.
"So, how's recruitment progressing?" the tall masked man asked the masked woman, shifting the topic.
"Not bad. We've made some special exceptions, but the rest will have to wait until after this year's ATRE concludes," she answered.
