"Yuqin, I..." Han Rong hung up the phone and he sighed. He didn't know what to say. He wanted to spend another night with his love. Yuqin turned off the TV and looked at Lingling.
"I'll bring you guys home. Your brother will be busy soon" Yuqin didn't say anything. What can she say? Her boyfriend is a SWAT officer. His mission was to rescue people. She didn't want to complain but she remained calm. Yuqin grabbed her car key then waited for them.
As they headed to the parking lot, Lingling sniffled. She didn't want her brother to leave. She remembered how badly he was injured. The gunshot which nearly killed him. She wanted her brother to stay at home.
"Brother, can you not go? Sister Yuqin, please persuade him to stay. I don't want him to go. I can't bear to see him getting injured again. Do you think mom and dad will agree?" Lingling begged him and Yuqin but what can they say?
"Lingling, I understand how you feel. I also don't want him to leave. But your brother was a SWAT officer before. He's still a police officer. His boss called him into work, he has to go. Just like in the future, when you start working, you have to obey your boss." Yuqin explained it to Lingling and hugged her for a few seconds.
"Come on, let's get you guys back." Yuqin started the car and on the way, she didn't say anything. She didn't know what to say. Lingling also remained quiet, her make up was ruined so she used her make up wipes to clean it all off. Han Rong stayed quiet as well. He didn't even know things would get this severe.
Yuqin got to their place just before midnight. She got out of the car with them then she locked the door.
"Yuqin." Han Rong finally spoke, "Lingling, I want to talk to her." Lingling nodded and went back first.
"Yuqin, I'm sorry. I didn't know that I needed to go back. To be honest, I'm not ready to face my past. Also, I haven't worked out that much. And I really don't know when I'm going to come back. But one thing remains true. I love you too much." Han Rong embraced Yuqin and kissed her under the moonlight. She teared up and kissed him back.
"Han Rong. I know you will come back to me safe and sound. I trust in you. Make sure to take good care of yourself. Bring extra clothes and don't get sick or injured. You will be able to conquer your past. I love you, too." Just then Han Rong got out a special box.
"Yuqin, after that night, I've decided. Yuqin, please marry me. I don't know if we'll ever have a wedding but I want you to keep this."
Yuqin was speechless and she sobbed. She embraced Han Rong again and kissed him.
"I'll keep this ring." She whispered.
Han Rong took out the ring and placed in on her left ring finger. He kissed her again and whispered, "Yuqin, let's get married when everything is over."

The very next morning, Han Rong said farewell to his parents and Lingling. Initially, all of them disagreed but they understood the job that their son loved for a long time.
"Son, please take good care of yourself. We cannot afford to lose you." Guanting was getting teary when he said goodbye.
"Son, I made some ready-to-eat snacks this morning. Eat these when you're on the plane. Make sure to dress warmly at night and be safe. Make sure to call us whenever you have the chance." Yu Jie smiled while tearing up.
"Brother... I'll miss you. Take care. I'll take care of mom and dad. I'll work hard in university and make you proud. Be safe!" Lingling wiped away her tears then Han Rong hugged them one final time.
Just then, Yuqin rang the doorbell. Han Rong opened the door and she smiled at him and asked,
"Are you ready?"
"Sister Yuqin!!" Lingling hugged her tightly. Yuqin rubbed her back, "I miss you, too." Then, Yuqin looked at Yu Jie and Guanting.
"AUN--- Mom, dad, I'll drop off Han Rong to the airport now."
Yu Jie held her hands and she saw the ring on her finger, "Thank you, Yuqin. For loving my son. This is your home as well. Feel free to come over whenever you want." Yuqin nodded and hugged her.
"Thank you for giving birth to a wonderful son whom I also love dearly." Yuqin replied, " I'll be with him through thick and thin." Yuqin said her goodbye as well and took a final look before closing the door.

Before going through the security gate, Han Rong grabbed onto Yuqin's hand and hugged her one final time.
"Yuqin. If I don't come back, please take care of my parents and my sister. Last night, I slept late because I also wrote my will. Even as an SWAT officer, I also face the same dangers as a military personnel. So, in case, I don't come back. Live on, for me. Please don't show this to my parents nor my sister, I only told you so---" Yuqin made his lips shut, "I understand. I'll show it to them if it's official. But even then, Han Rong, you need to stay alive for our sake." As they shared one final goodbye kiss, Yuqin secretly placed one of their photos together into his trench coat pocket.
"Yuqin, take care. I love you" Han Rong waved goodbye.
"I love you, too." Yuqin replied without crying.
After dropping off Han Rong, Yuqin went back home to sleep. She doesn't want to think about anything especially after reading the will. She made herself some tea then went to bed.
In the middle of the night, she cried. She pretended to be strong in front of them but in fact, she didn't want to be alone.
"Han Rong, I lied. I want you to come back. You promised to be here for me..." She tightly gripped her blanket while she cried to sleep.
