With the dark presence that once had control of me now out of my mind, I could tell that I was no longer in the area where I was raised.
As I looked up at the sky, I was expecting a clear and stary sky like I had grown up in, but I instead saw a dark red sky with purple clouds that would occasionally have bolts of red lightning come from them. If that was not crazy enough for me to believe that I was somewhere else I could also see that I was inside of a magical barrier that surrounded a dark castle.
When I looked at the castle, I felt like a child who was experiencing things for the first time.
This castle was made from a unique type of stone that seemed to instantly both clean and repair any type of damage that occurred on them. There was a massive door on the main floor of this castle. The door was at least twelve feet in height. made of a very sturdy wood, and it was a double door that was in front of me.
Then the massive door opened and I saw a tall being with red skin and on top of his head I saw a pair of massive curved horns. This told me that he was a demon of some kind. The clothing that the whore was blood red magical robes, boots, and braces that had black gemstones inside of them.
"Welcome to my home. This will be your new house now that you are behind the dark veil.
"Come follow me as I will show you to the room where you will be staying." The male demon said in a voice that I recognized. This was the voice of the dark god who had just left my body.
I followed him since I, at this moment, did not have a choice but to follow him into this new life I had arrived at.
The inside of the castle seemed more massive than the outside. I was speechless in the long hallway that had paintings of other male and female demons all dressed in magical robes. On the wall to my left, I saw the males, and on the right wall, I saw paintings of females. The females were not all demons. Some of them were humans and elves, and there were a few fairies.
When I made it to the end of the hallway, I saw a painting of the demon that brought me to this castle, and on the female side of the hallway across from him there was no painting.
"Before you start to ask me, I did accept the contract to that to make you my wife eventually, someday." He said to me as he stopped moving and looked deeply into my eyes.
The thought that a man would do something so dark made me feel uneasy, but as I began to think about it the negative feelings quickly left my mind, and they were replaced with feelings of vengeance. If becoming this dark god's wife could lead to power to slaughter the people who were so willing to sell by body and soul to a dark god to avoid battle then I will embrace this new opportunity that has been presented to me.
"Okay, I will accept this offer if there are some unique ways that you can teach me to use my blood to enhance my magic," I told him as I looked at the empty picture and I could imagine a picture of myself.
He started to move to a room that was to my left and I followed him into the next room.
"Now the first thing that I will need to do so that people will believe that this is official is hire some ladies to teach you how the females of this realm all act. Secondly, I will need to give you a dark name since your old name is behind you."
As I walked into this room, I noticed that there was a massive set of red magical rings on the floor.
"Why are we in a room like this? What are these magical rings for?" I asked him because I was worried at the sight of dark red magical circles that surrounded me.
"This is how we get from floor to floor in this castle. All you must do is picture where you want to go and you will show up on that floor."
After he said that to me, I became relaxed since I would have to trust him if I was going to become his wife.
"So first you need to picture a bed area that is at the end of a long and bright hallway with two pots of black roses in front of it. After you have that picture in your mind step into the center of the room and say transport."
I followed his instructions and pictured that area that he mentioned to me as soon as I made it to the center of the room. After that, I was able to feel a dark aura surrounding me, and I was teleported to the door of a room that he had described to me.
As I looked around the hallway, I noticed that the décor was a very dark theme and it somewhat reminded me of the tapestries that were surrounding me since my childhood.
"I used my magic to speed up the process of changing this room into something that you would like by using my knowledge of your race." I heard him say from behind me.
"I do not know what to say," I told him as I made my way into the room and it looked quite like the house that I grew up in.
There was a long bed with scarlet red sheets and the bed frame was made from wood from the trees of the forest of blood. The trees from this forest were black with dark red veins in their wood. Against the right wall, I saw a cabinet that had veils for blood inside of them. In the rear right corner, I saw a stand that had a glass display case that contained valuable white jewelry. The only window was covered with a black curtain that made it where the light from the chandelier that was hanging from the ceiling was more intense.
"Then I must first tell you my true name, and after that, I will grant you your new name," he said to me as he walked into the room where I was going to be resting.
I focused on what he was going to say to me next because the fact that he was going to give me a new name was a big deal. After all, it would cause a rebirth under your new master. Most of the people that I had known who were renamed became very powerful after they were renamed.
"My true name is Carvis god of the undead. Now your new name will be Syndrell. Now, when it comes to your title as the wife of a god, you will have to earn that." He said to me as he stood behind me.
After he spoke my new name, I could feel my strength increase inside of me. I noticed that my magic felt more fluid as it coursed through me. I also noticed that I felt slightly taller, and my chest felt heavier than before as if it had also grown.
"I thank you for this new name that you had given me. I will treasure it for all my life." I told Carvis as I bowed to him.
"Well, Syndrell, I will leave you alone in the castle to explore the grounds, but whatever you do, you are not entering into the dark room."
"Why would that be?" I asked him because my curiosity was getting the best of me.
"Just believe me when I say that you do not want to make your way to it and that I am keeping your best interest in mind by asking you not to go there."
He then left me alone in my new room, and I chose to go to bed and leave the explore of my new living area for tomorrow.
As soon as I got under the blankets, I felt my body collapse due to how tired I now was.
