Ukyo was always known as a tough guy, both inside and outside the gym. He spent his days at the fitness center, honing his muscles with weightlifting and boxing training. Outside of his physical activities, he was an avid fan of anime and manga. No one could match his knowledge of shounen anime or action manga—the genres that always got his adrenaline pumping. However, among all the manga he read, there was one genre he always avoided: NTR. Something about the betrayal and manipulation in such stories made his blood boil.
That evening, Ukyo had just finished a tiring gym session when one of his friends, with a suspiciously wide grin, handed him a new manga.
"Check this out, Ukyo. You won't see the plot twist coming," said his friend, chuckling.
Ukyo accepted the manga without suspicion, thinking it was just another ordinary recommendation. However, as he turned page after page, his expression slowly changed. The manga was about an innocent girl in love with her childhood friend, sharing a sweet and loving relationship. Until a new guy, a second-generation heir from a wealthy family, transferred to their school. This guy, attracted to the girl's beauty, began to approach her with a deceitful smile. Initially, he offered her kindness—providing her with a drink when she was tired, but the drink was laced with sleeping pills.
Ukyo read anxiously, his heart pounding as the story grew more intense. The wealthy guy deceived the helpless girl, taking her purity in a hotel room while recording it without any mercy. The next day, the girl was haunted by guilt and fear as the guy showed her the video. Under the threat of the video being leaked, she was forced to submit and engage in a secret affair for half a year. Eventually, the girl realized she was pregnant with the wealthy guy's child while she was still dating her childhood friend.
Ukyo's anger erupted as he finished reading the story. He harshly slammed his phone onto the bed.
"What the hell is this?!"
His breath was ragged, his heart pounding in his chest. The NTR genre, filled with betrayal and manipulation, always made him sick. He felt angry—angry at the guy in the story, angry at the injustice the girl suffered, and angry at himself for getting involved in such a story. To vent his emotions, Ukyo turned to his favorite game. A long, non-stop gaming session commenced.
Without realizing it, night turned into morning. His eyes started to blur, his body was exhausted, but he continued to force himself to play. Eventually, his body gave in. The bright gaming screen in front of him became a silent witness as Ukyo collapsed onto his gaming chair, his body unmoving.
...
Ukyo awoke with a pounding headache. His eyes slowly opened, catching the glint of light streaming through the large window in front of him. The room he found himself in felt unfamiliar—completely unfamiliar. The walls were adorned with delicate carvings, shiny white marble floors, and luxurious teak furniture. The bed he was sitting on was massive, fitted with silk sheets in a golden hue. In the corner of the room, a crystal lamp shimmered, casting a soft light that illuminated every corner.
Confused, Ukyo rose from the bed, his body still feeling heavy. He massaged his temples, trying to calm the sudden headache. He felt something different as if his body wasn't quite like it used to be. With slow steps, he walked toward the large mirror hanging on the wall.
When he saw his reflection in the mirror, Ukyo was stunned. The face staring back at him was not the face he recognized. His black eyes widened, filled with confusion and fear.
"What has happened...?" he uttered, his voice trembling.
He stared at the unfamiliar face once more, unable to believe what he was seeing.
