Chapter 5 - Class

Kazuma stepped into the school gate with a heavy heart, his mind still swirling with all the dark memories of his new life.

The school was grand, with modern architecture and large pillars dominating the front yard. Other students walked calmly to their respective classes, many of them busy chatting or playing on their phones. However, Kazuma's world felt far from normal.

Suddenly, a voice interrupted his reverie. "Boss!"

Kazuma paused for a moment, coming to his senses from his tangled thoughts. He turned and saw three guys approaching him with smiles full of devotion—or more precisely, sycophantic grins.

They quickly closed in, clustering around Kazuma like dogs trying to please their master.

"Hey, boss! How's it going today?" One of them asked with excessive enthusiasm.

"Boss, you're so cool, as always!" Added another, continuously praising.

Kazuma glanced at them briefly, a feeling of disgust slowly rising in his chest. How could it not, the appearance of these three guys radiated the negative energy within them.

The first was a tall guy with unkempt hair and red eyes that seemed sleep-deprived, his face showing traces of madness. His clothes were somewhat shabby despite wearing the same school uniform, with a sinister smile adding to the impression that he was often involved in shady dealings.

The second, shorter with a sly face, seemed more dangerous. His black eyes glinted as if he was constantly looking for an opportunity to do something deceitful or dirty. His yellow teeth were visible when he chuckled, hinting at concealed malevolence.

The third guy, with a muscular build and a strong jaw, looked like someone who used violence as his main tool. His face was full of small scars, indicating he often got into fights. His gaze was cold, yet there was a clear sly glimmer in his eyes, like a predator stalking its prey.

Kazuma, who had regained the memories of his new body, quickly recognized that these people weren't just ordinary sycophants.

They were his henchmen, people who had long been willing to do anything to gain the power and money of the real Kazuma.

And not just for doing dirty work. From Kazuma's memories, the three of them often engaged in more heinous acts—rape, extortion, and even women trafficking.

"Don't you guys have anything better to do than sucking up?" Kazuma said in a cold tone, but he continued to walk without pausing.

The first guy looked surprised but quickly let out a nervous chuckle. "Heh, boss, you know we're loyal to you."

Kazuma merely sniffed and ignored them. How could he interact with people like this? Crime and corruption were so evident on their faces.

The body formerly inhabited by Kazuma was the hub of all the atrocities in this school. He wasn't just a petty criminal but a top villain.

If people like them were his closest allies, Kazuma couldn't imagine how severe the actions had been previously.

Without looking back, Kazuma quickened his pace towards the school building, leaving the three men behind.

They appeared puzzled by their master's change in demeanor, but none dared to impede his path.

Upon reaching the classroom door, Kazuma stopped as this was his class according to the original owner's memories. Taking a deep breath, he had to act cautiously from now on, even if he didn't want to.

The malevolent memories of his old body continued to haunt him, making his mind chaotic. He feared that if he let his guard down, he would be influenced by the original owner's memories and become like the previous owner.

With a heart still tumultuous, Kazuma slowly opened the door and stepped into the classroom.
