Actually, there's hardly any shaking at all. Thanks to the Corvut Tribe's paved roads and the custom-made skeleton cushions in the carriage, it's incredibly comfortable.
It's been a full day since then. After taking some time to rest just to be safe, we left the village of the spotted cat beastfolk.
"You had a sharp sense of the battlefield, village chief," I told him as we were parting ways.
To which he immediately dropped into a deep bow.
"Ha-ha! My apologies!"
"…Why are you apologizing?"
"If we had pressed forward into the fort instead of retreating, such a disaster would not have occurred…!"
