"Hey! Don't talk about my father!"

Cherry had been expecting a furious exchange of words, but all she saw was Amy crumbling before her.
Amy shifted uncomfortably, then turned to the cat before shifting back into her human form.

"I'm sorry, Amy. Me dejé llevar por mi frustración (I got carried away by my frustration)," she whispered.
Amy's voice cracked as she repeated, "Don't talk about my father!" Her sobs shook her small frame.
"I'm sorry for dragging your father into this," Cherry said, her voice was low and filled with regret.
Amy's eyes, filled with pain, locked onto Cherry's.
