"Take five and action!" the director called out again, the energy on set still buzzing from their last take.
Rafael nailed his line effortlessly, his delivery smooth as always.
Cherry felt her pulse quicken as her turn approached.
Keep it together, she thought, gripping the sides of her chair.
And then, something unexpected happened—a wave of confidence surged through her, like a switch had flipped inside.
She delivered her lines flawlessly, but this time, she added something extra, something raw and more vulnerable even more than the vibe Amy usually gave.
"Cut!" the director shouted, beaming with approval.
"That was increíble! (incredible!) Both of you, excellent work."
He turned toward Cherry, nodding appreciatively.
"That emotional timing, Miss Amy... perfect! Now, go take a break. We're done for the day."
Cherry exhaled, feeling relief and she was excited.
