"Leny I know you won't be able to see where I am coming from, but things are getting out of hand." Sophia said to Leny who was vividly shaking from anger.
Leny was a vampire hunter and it was in her blood to hate vampires, she'd be moved to kill vampires even against her wish.
So it was unbearable to see Sophia trying to help whoever this Max was.
"We have discussed this before, we have to make ourselves stronger, with the unpredictability of the future arising, bonds with these new specs might help later on." Sophia explained.
Leny shokk her head in disappointment.
"I can't believe you are saying this even if every other mages should, have you forgotten how your parents died?" Leny asked.
Sophia's face changed immediately she
heard what Leny said.
The air around them felt unusually cold and the airflow began to go wild.
Liam felt fear grip him.
This girl was powerful!
Her change of mood sent shivers down his spine.
But Leny didn't seem to care. "Now if you still want revenge then you will never think of helping vampires."
"Vampires are creatures against nature and must be wiped from the surface from this earth." Leny continued, then she turned towards Liam. "Including your friend."
The temperature of the air continued to drop as Soohia silently stared at Leny icily and her eyes were starting to slowly turn white.
Liam didnt know whether it was because he just brought out some cool claws and murdered a monster but his senses were screaming for him to try and calm sophia down or else the after maths of her outburst beneath her calm will turn him to wisp of burnt ashes.
"Hey, hey, calm down Sophia." Liam snubbed Leny's word towards him as he tried to calm Sophia's soured mood.
Sophia took a deep breath and closed her eyes after hearing Liam's words, by the time she opened her eyes her eyes came back to normal.
Leny seeing that she said more than she should have went silent and turned around and left.
Liam breathed a sigh of relief when his screaming instincts died down and seeing sophia comw back to normal.
"So he became a level one vampire?" Sophia asked as if nothing happened.
"Yes, is that what happens when someone officially becomes a vampire?" Liam asked after giving a reply.
Sophia slowly nodded.
Liam became worried after seeing her confirmation.
"Can you do anything about it?' Liam asked worriedly.
Sophia didn't answer his question and just walked up to Evelyn who was lying down motionlessly on the floor.
Staring at Evelyn, Sophia discovered that this girl was very beautiful, too beautiful for a mortal, it was ike she fell out of a painting and she looked familiar.
Sophia then remembered where she saw her from, Oakwood university's students had a student website created many years ago and in that platform, almost all students were registered.
This website was created by a student long ago and then it became famous throughout the school.
It was a platform where students discussed freely and hosted many silly games.
So one day as she was scrolling she saw this girl's photo, she was voted as the most beautiful sophomore student.
That was by the side, Sophia raised her hands up and muttered softly.

Then her eyes blinked with white light.
Liam couldn't be more familiar with those words by now.
Sophia wiped her memory!
"Let's go save Max." Sophia said coldly as she walked away.
"Wait, wait, what about her." Liam asked as he pointed at Evelyn.
"She will wake up in two minutes later and find her way back to wherever she came from, now if you care about Max then don't just stand there." Sophia said without turning back.
Liam had no other choice but to follow her.
On the way to his dorm Liam saw how cold Sophia had become since the mention of her parents death and didnt know if it was a good idea to ask her about it.
After contemplating a little, he decided against it, that will be later!
Meanwhile the school forum was bustling with messages.
I can't be the only one that heard that right?
What the hell was that? I thought I was hallucinating. Is there a monster in this school?
A monster? Are you saying a lion? I think that roar was too loud to be that of a lion!
Shit! So that was real? I thought I'd be stupid if I said anything about hearing a roar.
Everybody was shocked and afraid, what could that sound be?
In an office a woman read through the comments and her face twitched in obvious anger, she immediately dialed a number.
"Hello Noremus princess." A man's voice came from the other end, his voice filled with reverence.
"I told you to keep some chicks on check and it's not even up to 24 hours and everyone knows about them already?" The woman's voice was as ice as cold.
"No master, it's not like you are thinking. I..." The man stuttered in fear but was cut halfway.
"I need you in my office right now.!" The woman demanded. "Make sure your explanation is satisfying enough, because I don't mind replacing you."

Liam and Sophia soon got to his room.
Liam tried to open the door but it was locked from inside, he knocked lightly on the door and called out Max name.
But there was no response.
Liam looked at Sophia awkwardly.
"Max!" Liam shouted, but still no response.
Sophia frowned slightly.
Just then her frown deepened and then turned to one of shock.
She pushed Liam aside and grabbed the door handle and muttered something and then the door opened.
Liam was confused at Sophia actions but when he saw the scene inside he understood why.
Liam's mouth fell open with shock.
On the floor was Jack and Max on top him, Max squatted and was biting down on Jack's neck and gulping down his blood.
Liam could not tell if Jack was alive anymore but Max looked no different from a monster now.
Liam's mind went blank.
Is Jack dead or Alive?
