Zara's Pov
Zen was broken, his family was taken away from him, and he was forced to relive such a nightmare. What Bianca did was very insane--killing your brother's blood brother and his wife just because you couldn't have him
"I don't want you to pity me, Zara; that's the last thing I need from you right now, do you understand?" he warns, at a very close proximity.
"Are you okay?" I blurt out. Immediate regret and cringe consumed me. Of all the things that could be said, that was what flew out of my mouth, oh, Zara!!
"I'm not sure, princess" he whispers, caressing my face.
A shiver ran down my spine as soon as I felt his touch. It was like no other; I didn't know how to react; no words could be formed, and all I could do was stand and feel.
"I'm sorry I caused a scene and ruined your night," he apologizes, dropping his head onto my neck.
