Alex woke up from his deep sleep, feeling the weight of the previous battle still lingering in his muscles. As he opened his eyes, he saw Leo, his loyal companion, sleeping peacefully beside him. The sight brought a small smile to his face. He gently got out of bed, careful not to wake Leo, and began his morning routine. After freshening up, he picked up Leo and headed out to start his day.
The morning air was crisp and refreshing as Alex walked to his bookstore, Leo nestled comfortably in his arms. The village was just beginning to stir, with shopkeepers opening their stores and villagers going about their daily routines. Alex arrived at his bookstore, a quaint little shop filled with shelves of books, and began preparing for the day ahead.
As he was organizing the new arrivals, the phone rang, breaking the peaceful silence. Alex picked up the receiver and heard a familiar voice from the nearest city, Denis. "Hello, Mr. Darvin. The new books you ordered have arrived," the voice informed him.
Alex glanced at his watch. "I'll be there by 11:30," he replied. The caller acknowledged and hung up. Alex quickly finished his preparations and got ready to leave for the city. He left the village, the familiar path to Denis stretching out before him.
Upon arriving in the bustling city, Alex was greeted by the usual sights and sounds of urban life. However, his routine was abruptly interrupted when a crack formed in the air in front of him. From the crack emerged a monstrous creature, its form twisted and menacing. Despite the sudden appearance, Alex remained unfazed.
Before he could react, an axe came flying from behind him, striking the monster and killing it instantly. A man approached Alex, his demeanor confident and reassuring. "Are you okay, mate? We are the new heroes in this city, the Devil Hunters," he said, extending a hand in greeting.
Alex nodded, appreciating the timely intervention. "Thanks," he replied simply, his mind already shifting back to his task. He made his way to the delivery office, collected the new books, and returned to his bookstore. As he walked through the city, he couldn't help but reflect on the chaotic nature of his world.
[A brief history into Alex's world: It is a combination of many fantasy worlds—Hunters, Dungeons, Heroes, Cultivators, Martial artists, Fantasy creatures, Reincarnators, Regressors, Transmigrators, Alien overlords, Towers of challenges, Gods, and many other beings and phenomena.
Narrators note: "The reason Alex's world is like this is because Alex kept defeating his antagonists at the beginning of his story, so more and more parts kept adding to his world until it became this mess."]
Back at his bookstore, Alex felt a sense of contentment. He was happy that, for now, the problems in his life seemed to be over. He organized the new books on the shelves, enjoying the simple pleasure of his work.
Meanwhile, the scene shifted to Plot Armor and the dark figure. An aura of power surrounded Plot Armor as he confronted the shadowy presence. "Show your true form, Antagonist," he demanded, his voice echoing with authority.
The dark figure in front of Plot Armor began to shift and change, revealing its true identity. The Antagonist stood before him, a malevolent grin spreading across its face. The tension in the air was palpable as the two powerful beings faced off, each aware of the other's formidable strength.
