Sebastian's face lit up with a warm smile as he waved to catch her attention. "Here," he mouthed, his eyes locked on hers.
Charlotte looked around the cafe, her eyes darting from table to table. Then, she spotted Sebastian. A faint smile crossed her lips as she walked towards him.
"Mr. Sebastian," she said, her voice polite, as she settled into the chair opposite him.
As Charlotte settled into her seat, Sebastian's gaze lingered on her face. Despite the expertly applied makeup, faint dark circles still appeared under her eyes.
"How do you like our new hangout?" Sebastian asked, flashing a bright smile, attempting to lift the somber mood.
Charlotte shrugged, her response low."It's fine."
