The next morning, Charlotte woke up with no recollection of what happened to her.
"How did I come back home?" she asked, squinting as she felt her head pounding.
"Mr. Seb—" Rachel started to say, but Natalie swiftly nudged her with her elbow.
Natalie intervened, her voice casual.
"We brought you home."
She gave Rachel a side-eyed glance, reminding her of Sebastian's request to keep his involvement a secret.
"Here," Natalie added, handing Charlotte a cup of water as she sat down in the dining room.
"Thank you," Charlotte said, gulping down the water.
Her eyes scanned the room, trying to piece together the events of the previous night.
"How did you guys know where I was?" she asked, setting the cup on the table.
Natalie's eyes darted to Rachel, seeking help.
"Uhm..." Natalie trailed off, her expression hesitant.
"Mr. Sebastian told us," Rachel replied with a straight face, trying to maintain the facade.
