Natalie sighed frustrated as she got outside of the cab. Her gaze lingered at the "Paulo's Cafe" sign board.
"Let's get this done," she muttered under her breath, as she walked inside.
The cafe was deserted, except for one figure sitting alone. Her gaze immediately met with his, and he waved.
"Hey, Maggie!"
Natalie's stride faltered for a moment before she continued to the table.
"I'm Natalie, not Maggie," she said, forcing a smile onto her face.
"Then why did you lie about your name being Maggie?" Raymond asked.
Natalie furrowed her brows, a hint of defensiveness creeping into her voice. "Well, let's say I don't tell strangers my real name and I was drunk."
Her tone carried a hint of sarcasm, and Raymond's lips curled into a scoff as he shook his head.
"What?" Natalie raised her brows in irritation.
Raymond's expression quickly straightened up. "Nothing, just thought of something."
