Chapter 7 - Princess Lynn defend Kingston before her parents

Princess Lynn was rushed to the hospital. There, Kingston, his mother, and a few of Lynn's maids anxiously awaited news. Kingston, filled with high expectations, heard the door open. It was the doctor emerging from the labor room.

"How is my wife, doctor?" Kingston asked urgently.

The doctor, smiling, extended his hand to congratulate Kingston. "Congratulations, my king. Your wife, our future queen, has given birth to a healthy baby boy."

The king, in amazement, exclaimed, "Woohoo! I am a father!"

Kingston's joy knew no bounds. He immediately ordered a grand celebration to mark the birth of his son. The palace was adorned with vibrant decorations, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers. Musicians played lively tunes, and dancers performed gracefully, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Kingston held his newborn son in his arms, gazing at him with pride and love. He addressed the gathered crowd, "Today, we celebrate not just the birth of my son, but the future of our kingdom. Let this day be remembered as a day of joy and prosperity!"

Feasts were prepared with the finest delicacies, and the people of the kingdom were invited to join in the celebration. The night sky was illuminated with fireworks, symbolizing the bright future ahead.

Kingston's mother, with tears of joy in her eyes, blessed her grandson, while the maids sang lullabies to soothe the baby. The entire kingdom rejoiced, knowing that a new era had begun with the birth of the young prince.

Kingston, overwhelmed with gratitude and love, approached Princess Lynn as she rested in her chambers. He gently took her hand and looked into her eyes, his voice filled with emotion.

"My dearest Lynn," he began, "words cannot express how grateful I am for the gift you have given me and our kingdom. You have brought our son into this world with such strength and grace. You are truly remarkable."

He continued, "Your courage and resilience during the birth of our son have shown me once again why I fell in love with you. You are not only a wonderful wife but also an incredible mother. Our son is blessed to have you as his mother, and I am blessed to have you as my queen."

Kingston then kissed her forehead tenderly and added, "I promise to support you and our son with all my heart. Together, we will raise him to be a wise and just ruler. Thank you, my love, for everything."

Princess Lynn, moved by Kingston's heartfelt words, smiled and squeezed his hand. The bond between them grew even stronger as they looked forward to their future together with their newborn son.

Three months later, Princess Lynn decided it was time to visit her parents and introduce them to their grandchild. "I think it's time I visit my parents and show them their grandchild. But I'm scared. What will my father, King Aiden, say about my actions? Haven't I disappointed him? Nevertheless, my heart is strong with you, Kingston. I am ready to face whatever comes from this," Lynn confided in Kingston.

Kingston, ever supportive, reassured her, "I will go with you, and we will be accompanied by a number of guards. You have nothing to fear." With that, they began their journey the next day.

As they approached the Bloodstone Kingdom's boundaries, Lycan, one of the guards, spotted Princess Lynn from afar. "Is that not our princess coming with a king behind her?" he asked his fellow guards. They quickly recognized her and ran to meet her. Seeing her with a baby and Kingston, Lycan was shocked. "My princess, you are welcome back to your father's kingdom where you belong," he said, though he held back his questions, knowing his limits.

Princess Lynn smiled and, with Kingston by her side, they proceeded to the palace. King Aiden and Queen Isabella were taken aback by their arrival. "My princess!" Queen Isabella exclaimed, running to embrace her daughter. She looked at the royal guards and then at Kingston. "Is he a king?" she asked.

Meanwhile, King Aiden's face darkened with disappointment upon seeing Lynn with the baby. "So this is how you repay me, your father, for all I have done for you? You ran away with him to his kingdom. You don't need to explain in detail what happened, because I see you with a king who has no class, and you bring disgrace to my kingdom," King Aiden said sternly.

"Father, is that how you will welcome me?" Lynn asked, her voice trembling.

"You are a prodigal daughter, if there is such a thing. You think you would get my attention after tarnishing my integrity," King Aiden added harshly.

Kingston stepped forward, his voice calm but firm. "Your Majesty, I understand your disappointment, but I assure you, I love your daughter deeply and have treated her with the utmost respect. Our son is a symbol of our love and unity. I hope you can find it in your heart to accept us."

King Aiden's eyes narrowed. "You speak of love and respect, yet you took my daughter away without my consent. How can I trust you?"

Princess Lynn, holding back tears, said, "

King Aiden, filled with anger, addressed Princess Lynn harshly. "Look here, Princess Lynn. Your mother, the queen, should tell you how we have forgotten you. We even made a tomb indicating your grace, seeing that you ran away with a stranger. I am so disappointed in you. If you think I will celebrate your return, then you are mistaken." With that, he stormed off to his room.

Princess Lynn, tears streaming down her face, turned to her mother. "Is my father telling the truth?" she asked.

Queen Isabella, with a heavy heart, replied, "Yes, my daughter. We need to perform some rituals before you can be fully reinstated as the princess."

"No, no, mother, you can't do this to me," Lynn cried out, while Kingston rushed to hold her. "Whatever happens, always know that I am by your side," Kingston reassured her.

Meanwhile, Lucas, having heard of Princess Lynn's return, drove down to the Bloodstone Kingdom the following day. "My missing princess is back," Lucas said upon seeing her.

"When was I ever your princess, Lucas? The last time I checked, we were enemies," Lynn retorted.

"You can deny our friendship, but you can't deny that I love you. I heard you are back," Lucas continued, just as Lynn's baby was brought to her for breastfeeding. "Wait, what is the meaning of this? Are you married? How did you give birth? Were you raped?" he bombarded her with questions.

"I don't think that has anything to do with you. But to satisfy your curiosity, I am married to King Kingston," Lynn replied.

Lucas, stunned, asked, "Who on earth is Kingston?"

"I am King Kingston," Kingston said, stepping closer.

"You, the stranger, how did you come along with this? You stole my woman from me," Lucas accused.

"Point of correction, Prince Lucas. I did not steal your woman. She wasn't yours when I met her. As I have heard, she hates you and wants nothing to do with you. Princess Lynn is destined for me, not you," Kingston responded firmly.

Lucas, fuming, went to see King Aiden. "Your Majesty, I am deeply disappointed in you. How could you allow this to happen? Your daughter has brought disgrace to your kingdom by marrying this stranger."

King Aiden, equally disappointed, replied, "Lucas, I am more disappointed in my daughter than you can imagine. She has tarnished our family's honor."

Lucas, stepping forward, addressed King Aiden, "Your Majesty, if Princess Lynn is not my wife, I will turn the Bloodstone Lucas's  into turmoil. I love her deeply and will not let anyone take her away from me."

Princess Lynn, standing tall, added, "Father, I will protect this kingdom with my life. I will not spend a single day with Lucas, nor am I afraid of him. My heart belongs to Kingston, and I will stand by him no matter what."

King Aiden, seeing the determination in his daughter's eyes, realized the depth of her love for Kingston. Though still conflicted, he began to understand that their bond was unbreakable. The path to reconciliation would be challenging, but it was a journey they would all have to undertake together.

Lucas smiled and said to her, "What strength do you have left? You've lost it all after giving birth. This time, I'm not coming after you, but after the king if you fail to marry me. I don't care if you've given this bastard a child."

"Don't you dare call my husband a bastard," Princess Lynn retorted. "And speaking about my strength, I have more than ever. I'm ready for your nonsense."

Turning to her father, she declared, "Father, I won't heed your words. I will stand by the one who is best for me."

King Aiden, his face stern, replied, "Then you are dead to me as a princess. Marrying Lucas is the only way for you to be reinstated."

"To hell with your royal title," Lynn responded confidently. "I am already a future queen in my husband's palace. It may be a small kingdom now, but it will grow."

"Will you keep your mouth shut? When exactly did you lose your manners?" Queen Isabella asked her.

"The very day I realized I was no longer the princess of the Bloodstone Kingdom. That was the day I lost my manners. If you want them back, then do the needful," Lynn boldly challenged her parents.
