Chapter 1 - The warrior princess

King Aiden and Queen Isabella, rulers of a bloody kingdom, have always wanted the best for their daughter, Princess Lynn. However, despite being introduced to many princes, Lynn couldn't find love among them. This worried King Aiden and Queen Isabella, who couldn't understand why she wasn't interested in any of the princes.

"Father, you sent for me?" Princess Lynn asked, looking into her father's eyes.

King Aiden smiled warmly. "Sit, my princess," he said. "I have something troubling me, and I don't want to take it to my grave."

Princess Lynn was shocked. "What is it, Father? Is it about your successor?" she asked.

"It's about you," King Aiden replied. "The throne lies in your hands, but you seem to disregard the gift presented to you. What is really the problem, Princess Lynn? Bring home a man you love, a man who can take proper care of you. Your little brother, just twelve years old, looks up to you. What exactly is your problem?"

"Is this why you called me, Father?" she asked.

"Yes, this has been troubling me. As the wealthiest king of my time, I don't expect this from you. The rejection, even to the point of rejecting Prince Lucas, King Sherman's son, my childhood friend's son."

"Father, I have training to attend. Can we talk about this next time?" Lynn asked, shocking King Aiden with her response.

"Did you hear yourself?" Queen Isabella interjected. "What do you think is more important than what your father, the king, is saying to you? Listen to me, daughter. You are not a warrior but to be guarded by them. Whatever has gotten into your head, making you think you are one, should leave your mind. You are a princess. Get that into your head."

" I see is all about getting married to the princes, leaving my dreams. Father, mother, I have always dream to be the strongest warrior, not just to rule whatever Kingdoms I found myself as a queen but to guard and encourage my future king."

" Which was the main reason we got you a trainer, and not just that allow you practice your skills. I know how you have fought along side with Lycan the kingdom strongest warrior against our enemies. Your name spread round like an hammatta season, you have even done more than I expected of a warrior. You strangle giant with your hands, but find it difficult to live with a man as your husband." Queen Isabella said to her.

" Yes, that is because they don't love me, rather the love the strength I possess." Lynn answered her mother.

" In case you forget, you have no right to live under my roof as a spinster. You have to choose among the princes who to spend the rest of your life with." King Aiden said to her.

" I will do that father the moment I found a true love. Not those strength seekers." She answered him.

" I have to train Myself in hurry." She replied and about to leave her parent present. When King Aiden asked the guard to hold her down.

" You don't dare that." Princess Lynn said to the guard who was shivering, already.

" Now I see that you haveover powered my guard." King Aiden said to her.

" Father, I think it is high time you get to understand that I princess Lynn isn't disobeying you. Instead trying to grab my own pieces of joy. Allow me get the one that truly love me." She replied him. King Aiden and Isabella became short of words.

At the other hands, the young bachelor king Kingston, who rule a small Kingston, have promised his mother to make princess Lynn his queen, after hearing much about her from his mother.

" It will be better you have me dead than watching you take such risk. You might end up destroying yourself son, and the kingdom at large. I will advise you choose from among the maiden here, than placing your hands where it can't reach. We are not recognize by any as a royalty. We are see list among the kingdom, not even your father name have be found in the map. " She answered him.

" It is not all about recognition. I found peace of mind whenever I remember or hear her name. Princess Lynn." He said.

Kingston's resolve was unwavering. "Mother, I understand your concerns, but I believe Princess Lynn is different. She seeks true love, not just a political alliance. I want to show her that I am not afraid of her strength, but that I admire and respect it."

Queen Eleanor sighed, seeing the determination in her son's eyes. "Very well, Kingston. If you are set on this path, you have my blessing. But be cautious. Winning her heart will not be easy."

Back in King Aiden's kingdom, Princess Lynn was training with Lycan, the kingdom's strongest warrior. "You seem distracted today, Princess," Lycan observed as they sparred.

Lynn sighed, lowering her sword. "It's my parents. They don't understand why I can't just choose a prince and settle down. They don't see that I need someone who loves me for who I am, not for my strength or my title."

Lycan nodded thoughtfully. "True love is rare, Princess. But I believe you will find it. You just need to stay true to yourself."

As Lynn pondered Lycan's words, one among her guard, arrived with a letter, with a written word on it. " For princess Lynn." she opened it curiously and read:

"Dear Princess Lynn,

I have heard tales of your bravery and strength, and I am deeply impressed. I would like to meet you, not as a prince seeking a bride, but as a man who admires your spirit and wishes to know you better. If you would grant me the honor, I would like to visit your kingdom and spend time with you.

Lynn's heart skipped a beat. She felt a spark of interest and curiosity. This letter was different from the others she had received. It spoke to her as a person, not just a princess.

She looked up at the messenger. "Who gave you this letter?" she asked.

"My princess, it was shot with an arrow from the East part. I only picked it from the floor when it landed. I don't know who wrote the letter," he replied.

Lynn muttered to herself and looked at Lycan. "Whose handwriting do you think this is?" she asked.

Lycan examined the letter but couldn't identify the handwriting. "The letter seems interesting, and I would like to know who exactly wrote this," he said.

Princess Lynn, intrigued, took the letter back home. She wrote a reply, wondering how she would reach the unseen author.
