Kingston sat in the dark, damp cell, his thoughts consumed by the uncertainty of his fate. The cold stone walls seemed to close in on him, and the only light came from a small, barred window high above. He could hear the distant sounds of the castle—footsteps, muffled voices, and the occasional clang of metal.
Days passed slowly, each one blending into the next. The guards brought him food and water, but they were wary and kept their distance, treating him as a potential threat. Kingston spent his time reflecting on his journey and the risks he had taken. He knew that his actions were bold, but he believed that true love was worth any risk.
One evening, as he sat in his cell, he heard footsteps approaching. The door creaked open, and a guard entered, followed by Princess Lynn. She looked determined, her eyes filled with a mix of curiosity and concern.
"Kingston," she called softly.
He looked up, surprised to see her. "Princess Lynn, you came."
"Yes, I did. I wanted to spend some time with you and understand more about you," she said, her voice gentle yet firm. She turned to the guard. "Please watch over us while I speak with him."
The guard nodded and stepped back, giving them some space while keeping a watchful eye.
Lynn sat down on a small stool outside the cell, her eyes never leaving Kingston's. "Tell me about your journey. Why did you come here?"
Kingston took a deep breath, his eyes locking onto Lynn's with an intensity that made her heart race. "Lynn, I love you more than words can express," he confessed, his voice trembling with emotion. Lynn's eyes widened in surprise. "Do you know who you are having feelings for?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Kingston nodded, his gaze unwavering. "I do, and I wouldn't change it for anything."
Seeing the courage in his eyes and feeling her own emotions stirring, Lynn hesitated. "Won't I seem like a cheap princess to you if I tell you how much I feel about you, especially after refusing the prince's hand in marriage?" she asked, her voice filled with uncertainty.
Kingston gently took her hand, his touch reassuring. "Look into my eyes and tell me the feelings you have for me. I can see them in you," he said softly.
Lynn took a deep breath, her heart pounding. "Kingston, I… I have feelings for you too," she admitted, her voice trembling. "I've been hiding them, but I can't anymore."
Kingston's face lit up with a smile, his eyes shining with joy. "I've been waiting so long to hear you say that," he said, pulling her into a tender embrace. "And about the letter… it was me. I wanted to express my feelings in a way that would touch your heart."
Lynn's eyes filled with tears of happiness. "You wrote that beautiful letter?" she asked, her voice choked with emotion.
Kingston nodded, holding her close. "Yes, and I'll write a thousand more if it means I get to be with you."
Their hearts now fully open to each other, they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Princess Lynn's heart raced as she left the dungeon, her mind swirling with thoughts of Kingston. As she entered her chambers, she was startled to find her mother, Queen Isabella, waiting with a stern expression.
"Lynn, what were you doing in the dungeon?" Queen Isabella demanded, her voice cold and unyielding.
Lynn's mind raced for an excuse. "Mother, I went to conduct a proper investigation on Kingston before his execution," she lied, trying to keep her voice steady.
Queen Isabella's eyes narrowed, but she nodded curtly. "Very well. Ensure you gather all necessary information. The kingdom's safety is paramount."
As soon as Queen Isabella left, Lynn's heart pounded with relief. She waited until the castle was quiet before sneaking back into the dungeon. This time, she was determined to make the most of her time with Kingston.
In the dim light, she found Kingston waiting. Without a word, they embraced, their love defying the walls that separated them. That night, they shared a moment of passion, knowing it might be their last.
Princess Lynn, drew closer to Kingston, with her mouth closer to his lips, as the kiss, and finally had sex. " I love you, my princess." Kingston, said, after they have satisfied each other.
" I will love you till the end of my life." Princess Lynn answered him.
" You are a virgin?" Kingston asked her, but princess Lynn, kept quiet, as she leave, the dungeon, while Kingston look at the blood at the floor and nod his head smiling.
As Princess Lynn lay in her bed, her mind replayed the events of the night. She felt a mix of emotions—regret, confusion, and a lingering sense of love. "How could I have been so foolish?" she thought. "To give myself to a man who is seen as a spy by my kingdom. What if he truly is a traitor?"
