Chapter 1 - 1 World Disorder

??? POV

I still remember that day when storm clouds covered the entire world as thunder crackled every second. It was not the kind of weather that could just happen naturally. It was a storm that represented the world's anger. It was a storm lethal even for beings like me.

Imagine my surprise when I felt my entire realm darkened, it was as if the eternal night beckoned me to finally get rest, an eternal one. I was tempted to go back home but...

"Not yet, not now, I still have to persevere"

I ventured into the lush forest with trees as tall as the sky itself, without care of how the storm affects me. The corruption was coming onto me, but I knew I can't lose myself now just when I was so close to the prophesized one, the one that can break the eternal curse placed upon us, The Gods. The secret that several of us old gods have kept till now.

I went deeper into the forest, I knew it, I could feel it, I was close.

"Aaaaaaarrrrghh"

I held my head as I felt my heretic self taking over, 'no no no I mustn't let it take over'

I steadied myself as I continued walking deeper into the forest until I heared something.

"Wuuuu'

The voice seemed that of a baby but when I heard it, I felt a new sense of rejuvenation. I followed the direction from where the voice came from. That was when I saw the most shocking scene of my life.

In that open area of the forest, thousands of birds were circling above the place. The scene below was equally astonishing as I saw that child for the first time. The child that was going to change the world. The child that will one day be revered by all, whether they be mortals or Gods or even those arrogant god slayers themselves.

He was sleeping among a pack of Wolves, these wolvers were not there to eat him but were protecting him. The winds that felt stormy for even me, just grazed him gently as if they were caressing the child. The rain that brought floods across the world, didn't even touch the child. The cradle the child was lying on were venomous snakes, yet they didn't even slither as if afraid to awaken him.

I was marveled at the sight, as it was truly astonishing even for me as it was the first time I ever saw such a scene. I took a step forward but felt my legs bound by something.

My eyes widened as I looked down,I realized these were the vines of the trees binding me, preventing me from going near the child. The storm raged as if they were trying to push me back.

It was at that moment, I felt myself losing control. I coughed furiously as I vomitted Ichor. This time I couldn't really suppress my heretic self from manifesting. Dark aura surrounded me as I tried my best to control myself. But resistance became futile as my heretic self started taking control, my eyes became misty for the first time in millenniums as I started loosing hope.

It was at that moment when I felt the everything stop, I felt the stormy winds hitting me diminish as no rain touched me anymore. The world seemed to have gone silent. I looked up to find the child had opened his eyes, he was staring straight into my eyes. I was shocked to find that I gained control of myself as I stared into his eyes. His eyes seemed to contain endless mysteries as the were as deep as the Abyss itself yet they appeared bright as if no darkness could ever affect them.

With the child staring at me I felt the gaze of all the birds and animals surrounding the child on me. I stared at the child while his eyes shone with intelligence no mortal child at that age should have. I still felt he was mortal as I couldn't even see an ounce of divinity nor any divine blood in him.

"I mean no harm" I said in a reassuring tone.

The child didn't seemed to understand what I said but he seemed to have understood my intention as he raised his chubby right arm slightly.

As if following his orders the world resumed itself, the storm started again but it didn't affect me like it did before, the animals created a path for me as I felt my legs unbound by the vines. I stepped forward as two streaks of lightning fell on either side of me as if warning me that I should consider my actions carefully.

I am not the type to fall in a daze as I have ruled the gods for a fair share of time. But I couldn't help myself as the sight drawed me in, the sight of the child lying on the snake cradle as the animals made way. Among all the storm clouds rays of sunlight fell on the child highlighting him from the rest.

It was the first time I clearly looked at the child's Visage. He looked beautiful, with tufts of silver hair and deep purple eyes. Looking at me cutely, he tilted his head.

I went near him as he raised both his arms. I chuckled and picked him up. He flailed his arms, which made him appear cuter. Although he was still looking at me, he seemed drowsy.

"You seem sleepy, little guy" I said as I smiled at him cradling him to sleep in my arms.

As he fell asleep, I felt a presence appear behind me.

"To think I will see the chief god of Tir Na Og cradling a child to sleep. The world is changing indeed" The presence said

I turned around as I saw the person covered in silverhood and robe, his face could not be seen through the gap and his voice appeared neither male nor feminine though he seemed one with the world.

"And I never thought, the world will will ever show such bias towards a mortal child, I can see that he is extraordinary but he still seems to be mortal." I replied as I recognized the person as the heavenly will or the world's will.

"The child is more special than any being in existence but What business do you have in my realm Dagdha? I don't believe for a second you would be here for the child" said the Heaven's will called me by my name in a deeper tone.

I chuckled as I replied "Nothing of the sort,

O' great one. All I want is the peace of the world. I came here to inquire about the disturbance in Dimensional gap."

I hid my purpose, although the world will is not an enemy, he is not exactly a friend either. So I refrained from giving him the details about my issue as I asked a vital question that's been troubling the gods. The world's will has been avoiding this issue for about two centuries but it was about time the problem comes to light.

He stares at me deeply before he sighs, "Fine, I will explain the situation to you but I wish for you to do me a favour."

I nodded, I knew the world's will although powerful was not Omnipotent and can not interfere directly with the mortals without affecting the Laws.

"Whatever it may be great one"

"I wish for you to take this child to the Mortal world. He has a great destiny but he can not fulfill it here." He said

I widened my eyes as I realized his intentions, "you wish for the child to become one of them?"

He nodded his head.

'This old bastard is gambling with the fate itself, I am sure he won't be investing with loses, he must have had a plan. The how about.....'

I thought to myself as I reached a conclusion.

"I will help you out but I have a condition too. I will make him my inheritor" I said in a determined voice.

The world's will was shocked. He contemplated for a while before nodding.

"Fine but he can only inherit your powers at 16 years of age, and he must defeat you to gain the full authorities. Any sooner and his fate will be messed up."

We agreed on the terms as after getting my information, I left the forest of edloria with the child in my arms, which was the realm of the world's will.

I looked down at him smilingly as I said, "let's find you some parents little guy"

_________<>________

The entire realm was covered in storm clouds, nor.ally this was a sight whenever their godking was angry but this time around this scenario was happening due to something else.

"ZEUS!!!"

A loud growl was heard across the court of the Olympian gods as a man with deep blue coloured toga, sea green eyes and long white beard appeared holding a golden trident.

"What is it Poseidon? Before you say anything no this was not done by me. I have sent Hermes to find out about what's happening."

A man responded, he had a white toga on, with a golden laurel above his head. He seemed old but had a body that would seem like a mountain when placed against the best body builder, his sky blue eyes flashed with electric sparks every few seconds as he seemed to be contemplating something.

Before the two could talk more a blonde man in golden toga came rushing in,

"Father!! A new prophecy has appeared"

Both men's eye widened as a prophecy hasn't appeared for millenias.

'The world is going to change soon' Zeus thought.

Similar to the Greeks, the entire realm was shadowed by storm clouds.

In the great palace of asgard, an old man was sitting alone on a golden throne with no one in the court room except himself. He had a black eyepatch on one of his eyes as he held a spear that has been mentioned as a Supreme weapon in many myths and legends.

The All father, Odin was looking at the asgardian realms sky from the open throne room, as he muttered, "a new era is going to begin."

Such scenes were seen across various realms. Even the mystical mortal organizations were thinking over the phenomenon as everyone was sure that a fate breaking changes were going to take place
