In a dark place, away from everything that can be processed by a human mind, an endless Abyss remained.
However what was peculiar about this place was the bright silver light that was being emitted from a ball of threads, silver illusory threads whose end and Beginning could not be seen.
Before this ball stood three very old women in black robes, each one of them looked the same but had different eye colours and had different kinds of instruments in their hands.
"An anomaly has occurred, I can feel it." Said the first of the old ladies,Clothes. She had dimming gold eyes and held a spinning wheel which had a strand of thread coming from the bright ball of silver threads.
"Yes I can feel it too, this anomaly has the potential to end everything." Lachesis, the second old lady with dark green eyes said, she was braiding the thread that came out of Clotho's wheel.
"Then let's nip it in the bud" gestured the third old lady holding a pair of scissors. She had black eyes, not the kind that seemed like jewels but the kind that brought despair. Her name was Atropos
""No"
Both Clotho and Lachesis said at the same time. Clotho looked at her sister sternly.
"This anomaly is protected by the World will himself, we can not interfere in this matter"
"Not to mention Godking Dagdha is also involved in this matter." Lachesis sighed in resignation. She too felt it, this anomaly could bring irreparable damage to Olympus, the pantheon they were from, but regardless they couldn't do anything about it.
"Don't loose hope, how about this. Instead of killing him outright, which is impossible with the world will protecting him and the celtic godking, how about a curse of misfortune that blocks his powers from manifesting. As an anomaly he will surely face trials, if some mishaps happen along the way and he dies then it's all the better for us. Then even if the world will were to question us we could just say that the curse was that of minor misfortune" Atropos giggled ominously.
The other two widened their eyes before coming to agreement.
""Allright, let's do that."
_________<
It has been a year since Bridget and Liam have settled themselves in Japan.
Bridget's mother was half Japanese, so they decided to borrow her family name,
Bridget changed her name to Asuka Fujiwara and Liam changed his to Kenji Fujiwara. They built their identity as half Japanese people who studied abroad and after marrying came back to live in their homeland.
They were bright minds and Kenji had already learnt several languages in his childhood, it didn't take much time Asuka to learn Japanese too. Zane's name was not changed but the surname he had was Fujiwara.
They had saved quite a bit of money, so they bought a good apartment in Tokyo and Kenji also started a clothing business, although the income was not too much but it was good enough to pass their lives, not to mention Kenji was not a mediocre man but someone with conviction and determination to get their lives back on track, as he wanted to make his business successful within the country even if it does not go world wide, that was his promise to himself.

Baby Zane was sleeping in his cradle as his parents slept soundly on the bed. Deep into the night he opened his eyes as he saw a black smoke coming from the sealing.
"Uua?" He tilted his head in curiosity as he extended his tiny arms and tried catching the smoke.
The smoke that was high above descended slowly.
This was the curse the moirai cast to harm Zane, but when the smoke tried to enter Zane's body.....
It couldn't.
The smoke itself which seemed to have some kind of sentience, seemed shocked. It tried numerous ways, from the mouth, from the ears, nose even his butt.
Zane who saw it grabbed it and tried stuffing it into his mouth but once his tongue touched the smoke, his face turned ugly as he spat it out.
The smoke seemed to reel back as if in shock that a mortal seemed to disdain it, it continued its assault but all it did seemed ineffective as it didn't have any other choice but settled outside of his body hovering around him.
This way although Zane will be unlucky often, it didn't really affect his innate powers and blessings.
_________TIME SKIP - 13 years later_________
IN THE FUJIWARA HOUSEHOLD
A middle aged woman was in the kitchen cooking breakfast for her family. While a man was sitting at the dining table reading a newspaper. They were Kenji and Asuka, although they were in their 40s. They seemed to have aged like fine wine.
"There is a board meeting today. So I might not be able to come in time for dinner. Both of you can have dinner by yourselves." The man said in a low tone as if afraid of the consequences of his words.
As expected, the response was explosive.
Asuka turned her body with a smile, which didn't seem any different than a yaksha's.
"Anata?"
"Yes ma'am!!" Kenji replied while his back was drenched in cold sweat.
"No funny business after meeting and I will be waiting for you to come back for dinner" her voice sent chills down his spine.
"Hai madam!!!"
[[As you can see age comes with maturity Yes but in women it comes with a little extra-
*breaking of glass sound*
A chilling cold swept all around the room as a woman stood at the spot holding a slipper in her hand. With a scary smile on her face
"Author kun, you shouldn't talk about a lady's age, alright?"
I felt the world turn against me as I sat in a dogeza.
"Understood my lady"
"I won't have to repeat myself again right?"
"Not at all, my lady. I understood your words to the tee."
"Good, I will be returning now. Min'na please support us." She waved her hands as he disappeared.....
.....
..
*cough* *cough* kuhum as I was saying let's carry on with the story.]]
As Asuka prepared the food, the sound of someone walking down the stairs was heard.
"Baby, have you gotten ready for school yet. I am going to serve the breakfast now." Asuka yelled from the kitchen.
A soothing and clear voice replied back, "Give me a few minutes, Mum. Please serve the breakfast, I will be quick. I just need to set up my books."
"Okay, be quick. Today is the first day of highschool."
A few minutes later.
A young man about 5'8, sat down at the dining table as he started having his food. He had shoulder length silver hair similar to Asuka and bright purple eyes like his father. His face could only be described as something molded by God himself.
He hurriedly ate the food, picked up his bag and was just about to go when Asuka called,
"You didn't drink the juice, here take it." Asuka picked up the glass and just as she was about to hand it over to him, she slipped. Fortunately someone caught her by the waist, saving Zane by an inch of getting his new unform drenched in juice.
"Nice one, dad" Zane chuckled.
"At this point, it has become an instinct."
Kenji replied with a smirk.
"Sorry, it was my fault." Asuka replied in a sad tone.
"No mom, you know how unlucky I can get, none of it was your fault. Anyway I am getting late, I will be leaving" He consoled her before he rushed out.
Asuka ran to the door as she yelled reminding him, "Don't hurry, beware of the trucks, signboards, bikers, puddles and ducks. Especially the last one"
Zane POV
I was running as I shuddered when I heard her voice, the thing about ducks brought back bad memories.
Something I had to get used to growing up, was my bad luck, and when I meant bad, it was really bad although it hasn't reached Murphy's level of bad, it can still cause considerable damage.
I was thinking of this when my legs suddenly stopped. Just as I stopped a truck passed the road right infront of me. I sighed as I started walking to my school again. After a few minutes of walking I reached the school. Although my luck was shifty, it had its own perks too. All these years of facing misfortune, I had developed a sense of danger for these things, as my father said at this point it was all instinctual for me. But sometimes, I still get hit by bad luck.
"Careful" I heard a voice behind me, I turned around just to see a baseball shuttling through the air towards me, I couldn't react in time and just as I thought that I was getting my nose burst on the first day of highschool, I felt something tackle me out of the ball's way.
"Ugh!" I groaned.
My savior gets up looks down at me offering her hand. I looked up at my savior my heart thumped.
Lub-dup
There was a girl smiling infront of me, Now that's not the surprising case. I have always been popular, with my looks I am confident in making even statues blush.
[Author - Tsk! Narcissistic much?]
But who or rather what was Infront of me, I can guarantee that she was not a human, no she was an angel, no doubt about it.
Although my emotions were in turmoil but my face remained neutral. As I kept staring at her like an idiot.
She swept her bright pink hair back with one hand, with the other one stretched out. She asked in her crystal clear voice.
"Hey, you alright?"
My mind blanked. Although I wasn't a believer of love at first sight, her appearance and style certainly marked a memory. At that time there was only a single phrase going through my mind.
'That was so cool!'
I held myself together, I took her hand as I stood up. I smiled back at her in response.
"Yeah, thanks for the save."
She says as a slight blush crept into her face.
"No worries"
POV END
Now this may have seemed like the end of this scene as they went their own ways but that's not what happened.
Both of them kept looking into each other's eyes, as they held each other's hands, refusing to even blink. The pair of mesmerizing blue eyes looked into the mysterious purple ones, as the world turned silent for them.
