T/W: Gore, Foul Language
Penn woke in a daze, sitting up so fast he grew dizzy. Bringing his hand to his face, he rubbed his blurry eyes as he attempted to look around. It was dark now, so it was safe to assume this dungeon had a day-night system. Usually, such systems were in place only in higher-difficulty dungeons, to set restrictions on certain monster movements.
"Take it slow," came the familiar low, rumbling voice. Penn glanced to his side to see the tall, limber figure with his sandy curls shadowed by the thatch-like roof.
"It's night," Penn mumbled. Nathan only nodded. "Monster habits changed?"
"They aren't moving, not even if you hit them. Seems like they become normal trees when it's dark," Nathan replied, monotone. Penn nodded, feeling somber.
"Sorry," Penn replied, looking up at Nathan with a straight face. The Hunter shook his head.
