"You've joined the Hunter Ranking System!" Nathan explained, eyes burning so intensely that Penn felt off-put by it.
"I don't know what that means…" Penn replied in frustration. Was his vision supposed to be this impaired? He had only been inside the training dungeon, whose gate never closes. "Why can't I see a damn thing?"
"Oh?" Nathan hummed, intrigued. "That tends to happen to newly awakened. The system is integrating with you, so it can be a little overwhelming on the mind. You needed rest anyway."
"Intigrating? Like the borg or whatever?"
"You don't know what lassie is, but you're a trekkie?" Nathan asked, bewildered.
"How do you know about that?" Penn's mouth gaped open.
"The last instructor was cursing you, calling you a snowflake," Nathan shrugged. Penn sighed.
"When are we leaving this damn dungeon? It's so bright," Penn frowned and squinted his eyes.
