Next Day.
Atticus knocked lightly on Sabrina's door, waiting for her to open it.
"Good morning," Sabrina greeted with a sly smile on her lips after opening the door.
"How was your night's rest?" Atticus asked as he walked in.
Sabrina hesitated before replying, "I missed you."
"Should I move into your room?" She threw the question at him before he could speak.
"No... Not after the—"
"Must you talk about last night? Uh?" She pouted, giving him a baby look.
Atticus smiled faintly before closing the gap between them. Before she could anticipate his next move, he hugged her. "Last night was amazing and wild," he commented. "I love you, Kathryn."
"I love you too," she mumbled before wrapping her hands around his broad back, resting her head on his chest.
Falling in love and having someone love her for who she is was definitely a dream come true for her. Even if it was just for a fleeting moment, it was worth it.
