Paul was also shocked at the discovery that they were both arch-mages.
This was supposed to be something incredibly rare, yet here they were, three Arch-mages sitting in the same place.
He explained to them earlier what kinds of mages there are, that he was an archmage who could use every kind of magic, and that it was rare to have an affinity with all elements.
Now however he was not so sure that it was as rare as he thought.
Add to that the fact that all three of them were dual cultivators and the chances of three people fulfilling all these requirements to meet at one place were almost nonexistent.
-Master you told us that archmages and dual cultivators were rare so how come we are both the same as you?
Mia asked.
-I would also like to know but the fact remains that we are all the same and the only difference is that I don't know what kind of physique both of you possess.
Paul said trying to process the information he had just gained.
-Then can you see what kind of physique we have?
Maya asked.
-I can't, for that, we would need a physique revealing crystals and I don't have them.
He explained.
-Then where can we find these crystals?
She asked not giving up.
-We can buy them in a town when we go there.
But for now, you both need to learn how to cultivate.
Paul said taking out his scroll from storage.
-There are basic mana and Qi cultivation techniques inside this scroll, read them and learn them by heart.
He said giving the scroll to them.
-But master, we can't read.
Mia said somewhat embarrassed.
Only then did he remember that they were living in a goblin clan and goblins don't read.
-Then I will teach you how to read and write, and as for the techniques I will read it for you until you memorize it.
This was the best solution as it would take time for them to learn how to read and he would prefer if they both started cultivating as soon as possible.
Paul started reading the technique for mana cultivation, it was short and he finished reading it within three minutes and then started again.
He continued to read five times and then asked the girls to repeat after him.
It took around two hours but they finally managed to remember the whole thing and could recite it word by word.
When that was done he instructed the sisters about cultivating mana and told them to come to him once they felt the energy entering their bodies.
The girls started practicing immediately and Paul started his cultivation as he needed to restore his mana.
They spent the rest of the day like that until it was time for supper.
By now Paul managed to restore his mana to full and even got close to a breakthrough.
Both girls on the other hand were unable to feel the energy and were worried.
-Master we can't feel the mana, does that mean that we can't cultivate?
Hearing Maya's question Paul burst into laughter.
-Do you think that it is so easy to feel the energy and cultivate?
It took me a lot of time before I was able to feel mana for the first time so be patient and work on it when you can, it will happen sooner or later but it would be a miracle for you to feel the energy on your first day.
The fastest I ever heard that someone managed to feel mana was over half a day and I'm not sure if this information is true.
He explained to her, lifting a huge weight from her mind as she was almost sure that she just wasn't able to cultivate at all.
Mia also heard what he said and sighed in relief as she was also starting to think that something was wrong with her.
Both girls returned to their practice and Paul started roasting some fish over the fire.
After the meal, he sent both girls to sleep while he went to the river to cultivate.
Ladies were tired after today's events and fell asleep the moment they lay down.
Paul on the other hand wanted to raise his levels some more because he was almost sure that his slaves were not as simple as he thought and there might come a time when someone would come for them and he wanted to be ready if that time ever came.
Before midnight he was able to gain two levels in both mana and Qi since he alternated between the two cultivations to keep them balanced.
He could have cultivated more but he also did not want to overdo it since that could affect his future cultivation.
When he woke up the next day both Mia and Maya were already outside and continuing their efforts to cultivate.
They were taking this matter seriously especially after Paul explained to them that they might become powerful, if they managed to become strong enough then no one would be able to bully them and they would not have to worry about any beast trying to eat them.
Paul let them train for a while longer since after breakfast he had plans and they required the girls to lead the way.
The map that Maya had drawn was quite good but she said that it might not be accurate since they were running for their lives and he wanted to see if there was something that the rabbits were guarding or did the girls just accidentally found their leir.
Either way, it was worth investigating, especially since he was stronger now and could dispatch any rabbit that might have stayed there with magic or just use his club to smash it.
-Today you will lead me to the place where you meet the rabbits.
He said during the meal.
-But master, what if there are more of them there?
Maya asked, fear evident in her voice.
-You don't have to worry about them.
I can now kill them without any problem and I'm pretty sure that most of them died when they were chasing you.
This managed to calm the girl down as back then it was Paul who killed the rabbits.
-Why would you want to go there, master?
Mia asked unable to stop her curiosity.
-I want to see if they were guarding some precious herb or did you just accidently came close to their lair.
Either way, there is a chance to gain something from that place since these rabbits are hoarders and they sometimes amass precious things that they find or take from their victims.
Paul explained.
-And this time you will have some weapons to defend yourselves if it proves necessary.
He said taking out two spears from his storage and handing them over to the girls.
This reassured them a bit more since they would not be defenseless like the last time.
After the meal, they moved out with Maya leading the way since she remembered it better than her sister.
The road was quite easy to traverse and there seemed to be no beasts in the vicinity.
It took them almost two hours to reach the spot where they were attacked.
To Paul's surprise, there was nothing there, no treasure herb, no rabbit denn, nothing.
This was strange and he could not figure out what was going on.
After searching the place and finding nothing he decided to use search magic to see what was around them.
He did not do it earlier because this spell used quite a lot of mana and had limited range.
At his current level, he would be able to see everything in a four-hundred-meter radius at most and it would cost him one-third of his mana.
The spell worked by spreading a bubble of mana in every direction and allowing the caster to see what was around him for around two minutes.
Paul cast the spell and found what he was looking for and more at the very edge of the spell range.
When he focused to see what exactly was there, he was both happy and terrified at the same time.
