Chapter 29 : Admission
As we arrived at the Crimson House, I gazed around at the opulent surroundings, my eyes settling on Tia. "From now on, aren't you head of the family?" I asked, a hint of amusement in my voice.
Tia nodded, her expression solemn. She had hidden her red wings, and for a moment, she seemed like a ordinary young woman. But I knew better.
I turned my attention to the treasure trove of the Crimson family, the leading family of Hoq City. Gold, jewels, and ancient artifacts lay scattered before me, but one sword caught my eye - the Low-Tear Dragon Slaying Sword. I couldn't believe they had it.
I picked up the sword, feeling its weight and power. It was a high-ranking Dragon Slaying Sword, but its grade had diminished due to overuse. However, I knew its secret - the hidden skill of Blood Absorption. If we fed it the blood of a dragon, it would regain its former glory.
The fools of the Crimson family had used it for killing humans and beasts, unaware of its true potential. I chuckled to myself as I took the sword and some gold, storing them away for future use.
As we prepared to leave, I turned to Tia. "Can you apply for admission to the Demon Academy?" I asked, my mind racing with possibilities.
Tia's eyes widened, and she nodded eagerly. "Yes, Your Majesty. I can try."
I smiled, a plan forming in my mind. "Do it. We'll need all the power we can get."
Before that i handed Tia the Ice Demon pill, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. She consumed it without hesitation, and suddenly, the air around us began to chill. A faint mist formed, swirling around Tia like a vortex. Time seemed to stand still as the cold energy enveloped her.
And then, in an instant, everything stopped. Tia's eyes snapped open, and a radiant smile spread across her face. "My cultivation has risen to Rank 4!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with excitement.
I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. "I've got a new bodyguard, it seems," I said, a sense of satisfaction washing over me.
Three months passed, and we both received the letter of acceptance from the Demon Academy. I couldn't help but think that the Crimson Family's influence was far-reaching, but now that Tia was back to her old self - curly hair and emerald eyes - she was bound to the family as its newly appointed head.
But I had a solution in mind. If I couldn't take her to the Academy, she would never be able to develop her skills. And what was the point of turning her into a Demon General if she couldn't reach her full potential? I smiled to myself, knowing that Tia had applied for two people to attend the Academy. It could be anyone... Hehehe, the
possibilities were endless.
