Chapter 30: First Day

As I sat inside the caravan, I couldn't help but notice the stunning woman beside me. Tia's red eyes and pale skin seemed almost ethereal, her straight black hair cascading down her hips like a waterfall of night. The other students on the caravan couldn't help but admire her beauty.

Before leaving, I had purchased a clone from the System store and linked it to Tia's soul. The clone, The clone had her previous appearance it had curly hair and emerald eyes, would remain behind to watch over the Crimson House, its Rank 3 cultivation a formidable deterrent. Meanwhile, Tia stood before me in her true form, her wings still hidden, but her Rank 4 cultivation radiating an aura of power.

As we approached the gates of the Demon Academy, I realized it was no ordinary entrance. A shimmering portal pulsed with dark energy, beckoning us towards the unknown. Stepping through the portal, I felt a thrill of excitement mixed with trepidation.

Before us lay the majestic Demon Academy, its sprawling architecture a blend of ancient and modern, with twisted spires and grand halls that seemed to defy gravity. The air was alive with the hum of dark magic, and the sky above was a deep, burning crimson. Towering statues of legendary demons guarded the entrance, their eyes glowing with an otherworldly intensity.

As we walked through the gates, the sound of whispering shadows and the soft rustle of wings enveloped us, a reminder that we were now part of a world where demons and mortals coexisted in a delicate balance of power. The Academy's motto, 'Strength is Power, Power is Eternal," was etched in bold letters above the entrance, a constant reminder of our purpose here.

As we ventured deeper into the Demon Academy, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer scale and grandeur of the place. Towering spires and grand halls stretched towards the crimson sky, their twisted architecture seeming to shift and writhe like living darkness.

Tia, sensing my wonder, smiled enigmatically. "The Academy has its secrets," she whispered, her red eyes glinting with knowing. "Not everything is as it seems."

We were approached by a figure cloaked in shadows, their presence seeming to draw the very light out of the air. "Welcome, new students," they intoned, their voice like a sigh from beyond the grave. "I am Instructor Kael. You will be divided into cohorts, each with its own... unique curriculum."

As we followed Kael through winding corridors, I noticed strange symbols etched into the walls, pulsing with a malevolent energy. Tia's grip on my arm tightened, her eyes fixed on the symbols with a mixture of fascination and fear.

"What are these?" I whispered to her.

"Seals of the Old Ones," she replied, her voice barely audible. "Forbidden knowledge, bound away for centuries. I fear we are in over our heads."

Kael led us to a grand hall, where cohorts of students gathered, each with their own distinct aura. I sensed a mix of excitement and trepidation, as if we were all waiting for some hidden shoe to drop.

"The Academy's true purpose is not just education," Kael announced, their voice dripping with sinister intent. "It is transformation. And not all of you will survive the process."

As the day drew to a close, I, Kane, stood before Tia, her red eyes brimming with tears. "We can't meet again," she whispered, her voice trembling.

I gazed at her with an impassive expression, my voice neutral. "When there's a special program, we can see each other."

Tia's tears halted, her eyes locking onto mine. "Yes, Majesty," she replied, her voice submissive.

I nodded, my expression unchanging. "Focus on your training, Tia. It's essential."

Tia nodded, her face set in determination. "I won't disappoint you, Majesty."

With that, she departed, leaving me to my thoughts.

I watched her go, my expression unchanging. as the rules dictated that males and females had separate blocks, 10 km apart, to maintain discipline and focus.

"I shall rise, from the ashes of night

With eyes that burn, like a thousand lights

My soul on fire, my heart untamed

I will conquer, and forever reign"

Hehehe...Nice one
