2 years Passed. I was eating lunch and looked up. The weather was good. There were many clouds. Hehehe. After that, I went into the classroom. They were talking about Life Essence and Soul Stone. I listened to them carefully. There are many types of soul stones. Some High-Ranked Soul stones have their own will, and we need to destroy the will to use it.
The Lecture Was going smoothly, and a guy named Robin came to me and said, "The Tests are Coming. What a headache!"
"Tests, already?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "I thought we had more time to prepare for the Swordsman exam."
"I know, but the instructors want to push us to our limits," Robin replied, his expression serious. "We need to be ready for the combat trials, and the magic theory exams."
"I've been practicing my sword techniques, but I still don't feel confident about the magical combat portion," I admitted.
"Just focus on mastering your elemental affinity," Robin advised. "That's the key to passing the magic theory portion."
"Right. And I need to work on my sword forms," I added.
Robin nodded. "We should spar together soon, to help each other prepare
As we walked towards our dorm, Robin turned to me and asked, "Hey, have you heard anything about the rumored 'Aetherblade' technique?"
"No, what's that?" I replied, curiosity piqued.
"I've heard it's a legendary technique that only a few top-ranked swordsmen know," Robin said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "It's supposed to give you unparalleled power and control in combat."
"I'd love to learn it," I said.
"Me too," Robin agreed. "We should try to find out more about it."
As we approached the dorm, we saw our friend, Jax, sitting on a bench outside. "Hey guys, what's up?" he asked, smiling.
"Just discussing the upcoming tests," I replied, sitting down beside him.
"Oh, yeah! I'm so nervous," Jax said, rubbing his neck. "I've been studying hard, but I'm still not sure if I'm ready."
"Don't worry, we'll help each other out," Robin said reassuringly. "We can form a study group and practice together."
"That sounds like a great idea," Jax agreed, looking relieved.
Just then, our friend, Liam, walked out of the dorm, yawning. "What's all the chatter about?" he asked, stretching his arms.
"The tests, of course!" I replied, grinning.
Liam nodded. "Yeah, I've been having some trouble with my sword forms. Anyone want to spar with me later?"
"Sure thing," Robin said, standing up. "Let's go to the training hall later and practice together."
The sun beat down on the training hall as Jax and Liam faced off in the center of the room. They both wore simple white tunics and carried wooden swords, their eyes locked in a fierce stare.
"Let's see what you're made of, Liam," Jax said, grinning confidently.
"Oh, I'm shaking in my boots," Liam replied, rolling his eyes.
The two friends assumed the starting position, their swords held at the ready. Robin and I watched from the sidelines, eager to see how their skills had improved.
"On your mark, get set... go!" Robin shouted, and the spar began.
Jax charged forward, his sword flashing in the sunlight as he activated his Moonlight Aura skill. A soft blue glow enveloped his sword, casting an ethereal light on the surrounding area.
Liam sneered, unfazed by the display. With a swift motion, he activated his Dragon Fury skill. Flames erupted from his sword, engulfing the blade in a fierce inferno. A small dragon image formed at the base of the sword, its eyes glowing like embers.
The two combatants clashed, their swords meeting in a shower of sparks. Jax's blue aura sword sliced through the air, aiming for Liam's chest. But Liam's flaming sword parried the blow, the dragon image roaring to life as it deflected the attack.
Liam countered with a powerful slash, his flaming sword leaving a trail of sparks in its wake. Jax leapt back, avoiding the attack by mere inches. He retaliated with a swift thrust, his blue aura sword glowing brighter as it struck true.
The spar raged on, neither combatant giving an inch. Sweat dripped from their brows as they exchanged blows, their breathing heavy and labored.
In a stunning display of skill, Liam unleashed a devastating combo, his flaming sword striking true time and again. Jax stumbled back, his blue aura sword flashing wildly as he struggled to keep up.
But Jax refused to yield, using every ounce of strength to launch a desperate counterattack. His blue aura sword sliced through the air, aiming for Liam's shoulder. Liam raised his flaming sword to block the blow, but Jax's speed and agility allowed him to dodge the counterattack.
The two combatants exchanged blows, their skills locked in a fierce stalemate. But in the end, it was Liam's Dragon Fury that proved too much for Jax. With a final, mighty swing, Liam struck Jax to the ground, his flaming sword triumphantly raised high.
The room erupted in cheers as Liam stood victorious, his sword still enveloped in flames. Jax grinned, rubbing his sore head as he stood up, acknowledging Liam's victory.
"Not bad, Jax," Liam said, clapping his friend on the back. "You pushed me to my limits."
Jax smiled, his
eyes gleaming with pride. "Thanks, Liam. You're a formidable opponent."
