Chapter 32 : Hero's Entry
Kane leaned against the wall, his expression indifferent as he watched Jax and Liam walk away. Robin approached him, a thoughtful look on his face.
"Hey, Kane, what did you think of their spar?" Robin asked.
Kane shrugged. "It was decent. But let's be real, strength is the only thing that matters in this world. Skill and technique are just secondary."
Robin raised an eyebrow. "You really believe that?"
Kane nodded. "Of course. Without strength, you're nothing. You can't even protect yourself, let alone others. As the great warrior, Thorne, once said, 'Strength is the only currency that matters in the world of the strong'."
Robin sighed. "I don't know, Kane. I think there's more to it than just strength. Strategy and teamwork are important too."
Kane snorted. "Teamwork? Ha! In the end, it's every man for himself. And strategy is just a fancy word for 'trying to find a way to compensate for your lack of strength'."
Robin shook his head. "I don't think you're giving Liam and Jax enough credit. They're both skilled fighters in their own ways."
Kane shrugged again. "Maybe. But until they can take down someone like me, they're just pretenders to the throne."
And so the conversation continued, with Kane and Robin debating the merits of strength versus skill and strategy. But deep down, Kane knew that he was right. Strength was the only thing that truly mattered in this world...
Jax, Liam, Robin, and Kane walked into the classroom, chatting and laughing. Professor Orion stood at the front of the room, a serious expression on his face.
"Welcome, students," he said, his voice commanding attention. "From next week, your tests will begin. These tests will determine your rank, and according to that rank, points will be awarded. These points can be used to purchase anything in this academy, from rare materials to exclusive training sessions."
The students nodded, their faces set with determination.
"But that's not all," Professor Orion continued. "There have been reports of unnatural occurrences in the Demon Realm. The weather is changing, and natural calamities are increasing. We're seeing unseasonal storms, earthquakes, and wildfires, and it's only getting worse."
The classroom fell silent, the students exchanging worried glances.
"What's causing it, Professor?" Liam asked, his voice laced with concern.
Professor Orion's expression turned grim. "To be honest, we can't find the cause. Our best scholars and researchers are stumped. We're trying everything to understand what's happening, but so far, we've found nothing."
The students looked at each other, their minds racing with the implications.
"Your training will be crucial in preparing you for this challenge," Professor Orion said, his eyes scanning the room. "Let us begin."
Professor Orion began to pace around the room, his eyes scanning the students. "I want you all to work together to research the cause of these unnatural occurrences. I want you to explore every possible lead, no matter how small it may seem."
Jax nodded, his mind already racing with ideas. "I'll start by researching the ancient lore of the Demon Realm. Maybe there's a mention of something similar happening in the past."
Liam stood up, his eyes shining with determination. "I'll check the academy's archives for any records of unusual energy patterns. Maybe we can find a connection."
Robin nodded, her brow furrowed in thought. "I'll work on analyzing the energy signatures of the affected areas. Maybe we can find a clue in the data."
Kane leaned back in his chair, a skeptical look on his face. "I'll... think about it. See if I can come up with anything."
Professor Orion nodded, a small smile on his face. "Good. I want you all to report back to me in three days with your findings. Let's work together to uncover the truth behind these mysterious events."
As the students began to disperse, Jax felt a strange tingling sensation in the air. It was as if an energy was building up, waiting to be unleashed. He looked around, but no one else seemed to notice it.
"Guys, do you feel that?" Jax asked, his voice low.
Liam and Robin looked at him quizzically, but Kane just raised an eyebrow. "Feel what?"
Jax hesitated, unsure how to describe it. "I don't know... it's just a weird energy. Like something's building up."
Kane snorted. "You're just being paranoid, Jax."
But Jax knew what he felt. And he knew that something was wrong
Kane was deep in thought, pondering his next move, when suddenly...

Kane's eyes widened in terror as he realized he had been discovered. "No, it can't be... he's found me..." He knew his death was all but confirmed.

As they emerged into the hallway, they looked up to see the Hero of Light floating above the students. The air was filled with an otherworldly energy, and the students' eyes were drawn upwards in awe.
The Hero, Jhon, was a majestic sight to behold. His eyes shone like gold in the sunlight, and four white wings sprouted from his back. Two angels stood beside him - Lumi, the Angel of Light, and another angel whose presence was divine . When he looked towards the second angel, Kane's heart sank to abyss, because the second angel was the Angle of Prophecy.
Kane's eyes met Jhon's, and he felt his soul tremble with fear. He knew he was no match for the Hero's powers.
"It's over," Kane whispered, his voice barely audible. "I'm finished."
Jax, Robin, and Liam exchanged worried glances, unsure of what was happening, but knowing they had to get Kane to safety.
