Lilly's POV
I woke up when I heard the door open and close and I called out: Who's there? I didn't hear a reply so I tried to open my eyes and I saw a man who wasn't Leo, I didn't know who it was because everything looked distorted and the colors were still off. I called out again: Who are you? I could see his mouth moving but there was no sound, I screamed: Get out! But he started coming closer. I got out of the bed, all though unbalanced and I felt like my eye site was shifting over and over. He kept coming closer and I tried to run away but he raised his arms to grab me. I felt anger once again surge through my body and I grabbed him by the throat and threw him across the room. My finger tips felt like someone was pushing razor blades up them and I screamed out in pain, I had to get away from whoever was trying to attack me so I ran into the bathroom and locked myself inside.
I felt my heart racing and felt pressure building in my ears, the intense pain forced me to lay on the ground holding my ears praying it would pass until there was a massive popping sound and suddenly I could hear myself screaming as well as Leo screaming on the other side of the door: LILLY! Please baby just move away from the door, I don't want to hurt you. Lilly open the door! I was able to pull myself from the door and unlock it. I opened the door slowly while sobbing from pain and fear. I managed to say somewhat incoherently: He tried to take me.
Leo wrapped me up in his arms and although the colors were still flashing I could see Dom helping the man up off the ground as the man held his neck and Dom helped him out of the room. I looked at him and then back at Leo with a look of complete confusion across my face and asked: Who is he? Leo looked at me and sighed. Lilly that was William, he wasn't trying to hurt you he was trying to help you because I asked him to.
The idea that I could hurt someone, especially someone like William, a sweet guy who couldn't hurt a fly made me sick to my stomach. I listened in horror at what he told me then covered my mouth as I ran to the bath room to puke, Leo ran right behind me to hold my hair back as his warm hands rubbed the length of my back. I lifted myself from the toilet and went to the mirror, my teeth were hurting and they felt strange, I already knew what was happening but I needed to see it. I opened my mouth pulling my lips back to see my teeth and I sighed in confirmation at what I saw. My canines were showing and I actually thought I looked more like a vampire then a Werewolf although I'm sure Leo would appreciate that thought. At this moment, after the night before and now this I just wanted to die.
"Leo, whats happening to me? I just want it to stop, please make it stop, it has to stop" He grabbed me by the shoulders and shook me forcefully, he growled at me for the first time since I met him he sounded truly angry: I dont ever want to hear you talk like that again! You WILL make it through this, just one more day and you will be one of the strongest Werewolves alive, so start acting like it!
I was completely confused Maybe its the fact that my hearing just returned or the fact that my head feels like it could pop off at any moment but it sounded like he just said I will be one of the strongest Werewolves to live I watched as Leo pulled his clothes off, he turned the shower on which looked like a beautiful red mist due to whatever was going on with my eyes and he took my hand and walked me to the shower. We stopped at the shower door for him to take my clothes off and then he led me inside. I closed my eyes as he bathed me, first my hair and then my body. He conditioned my hair gently massaging my scalp to help me relax and then rinsed me thoroughly. He wrapped a towel around me and lifted me in his arms to carry me to the bed where he laid me down under one of his arms as he laid halfway on top of me.
I cupped his face in my hand and pulled him into a kiss. His tears fell to my face making me flinch slightly because I wasnt able to see his tears: Baby whats wrong? I waited for a response and could hear him choking back tears as the knot in his throat kept him from speaking. I waited patiently for him to speak: Please… promise you wont ever hurt yourself Lilly? I was taken aback by his worry, I've felt like dying before but I havent thought about killing myself, even through this, it would be nice to not feel pain but I dont want to die: Leo I dont want to die. I mean I dont want to go through this but I dont have a choice. It will be over tomorrow night though, why would I kill myself when there is an end in sight?
I could feel his body relax and I heard him laugh through his nose before saying: Thank you… for being you!
He pulled me into his chest and held me close to him, I could hear his heartbeat and I let the sound of it relax me as I felt myself drift away into sleep.
I woke up a few times feeling uncomfortable but over all I had slept quite well and my eye sight had finally gone back to normal, no puking, crying or hurting anyone which is a plus. I woke to the sound of a woman calling my name: Hello Lilly! Lilly wake up!
I sat up to see who was speaking to me but saw no one: Who's there? I once again heard the woman but this time it sounded like it was right next to me: My name is Lorna! I gasped and just about jumped out of my skin as I stood up on the bed and kicked Leo to wake him while I whisper screamed: LEO SOMEONES UNDER THE BED! He jumped up, falling out of the bed and yelled: What? Who? Where? Whats going on?
I repeated: Someone is under the bed! Move! He gave me a quizzical look before leaning his head down under the bed and back again and sleepily saying : Lilly… no one is under here.
"What? No I heard someone sayi… I was interrupted by the woman again: Lorna, not someone.
"There, did you hear it?" My eyes widened and my brows raised looking practically crazy as I looked to Leo for verification that I was not in fact going insane.
"No Lilly I didn't hear anythi…" He trailed off and his line of sight went past me as if he was in deep thought before continuing: Lilly is it your wolf maybe?
My head leaned back as my brows knitted together and my lips parted in shock while I considered the possibility: Well, how do I know if its my wolf? Leo thought for a moment, before replying: Ya know, I don't know, my wolfs kind of just always been there since I could remember, we grew up together. Maybe try asking?
"Asking… that's your big idea? Hmm… Okay I'll give it a try… Um… Mrs wolf? Are you there?" I looked at Leo dumbfounded by his suggestion and was about to mock him when I heard her reply: Yes Lilly I'm here and again, my name is Lorna.
My eyes once again widened as I looked back at Leo who had a satisfied grin on his face as he said: Told you so. I wanted to retort but couldn't think of anything good, my brain was too preoccupied with the fact that there was now a voice in my head. I was lost in thought when Lorna spoke again: Um, Lilly, do you think we could get some food? I am absolutely famished and it doesn't feel like you have eaten in days.
I thought for a moment and replied out loud: Uh, yeah I've not been able to keep anything down for a few days due to the transition, but I can go get some food now.
"Oh thank you Lilly and I am so sorry that the transition has been so hard for you." I quickly responded: Oh its okay, and don't be sorry, its not your fault.
Just then I noticed Leo staring at me like I had a third eyeball and I asked: Why are you looking at me like that? It took him a few moments to respond as if he was trying to find the right words: Um… Lilly, our wolves only know like 3 or 4 words, so… who exactly are you talking to?
I was taken back by what he said but before I was able to respond, Lorna said: Lilly, he should know more than anyone that I'm different from other wolves, his own father is the one who told him what you are.
