Chapter 58 - Chapter 58

Angel Yan's distrust in Zhang Zheng didn't really affect him much. So when he heard her doubts, he simply ignored them.

"Tomorrow, you all just proceed with your regular negotiations with the Super God Academy. As for Morgana, I'll handle her myself," Zhang Zheng said calmly, as if he were discussing some random passerby rather than the Demon Queen herself.

At that moment, Angel Yan finally saw in Zhang Zheng the demeanor of a true god—his words were filled with confidence, and his eyes occasionally flashed with a sharp brilliance that left a deep impression on her.

"This is what a god should look like," Angel Yan thought to herself.

"Alright, then I'll leave Morgana to you. But after tomorrow, I'll report her presence on Earth to Queen Kaisa. How the Queen chooses to deal with it is beyond my control."

Although Angel Yan agreed with Zhang Zheng's plan, she still decided to inform Kaisa about Morgana, not for any other reason than her loyalty to the queen and to justice.

"Do as you wish," Zhang Zheng replied. "But please tell Queen Kaisa that my stance will not change. If she wishes to visit Earth, I'll welcome her with open arms. However, if she intends to start a war with Morgana here, I'll stop her, even if it means disappointing Zhixin. Gods are not allowed to make a move on Earth."

Zhang Zheng stared at Angel Yan, speaking each word with determination. This message was meant not only for her but also for Kaisa.

"Very well, I'll convey your words to Queen Kaisa. But as I said, the final decision lies with her," Angel Yan responded, unfazed by Zhang Zheng's firm stance. After all, loyalty to Kaisa was her priority.

"Now that we've finished discussing business, why don't the three of you lovely ladies take a seat?" Zhang Zheng, having said what needed to be said, dropped his serious tone and adopted a more playful attitude.

"Yes, it's time to discuss more personal matters," Angel Yan remarked with a seductive smile, her eyes gleaming with a captivating light.

"Ah Chui, Mo Yi, you two go back to your rooms. I have something private to discuss with the God." With that, she waved off Angel Chui and Angel Mo Yi, who obediently returned to their rooms.

Angel Yan then walked over and sat directly on Zhang Zheng's lap, her arms naturally wrapping around his neck. Leaning in close, she whispered into his ear, "You saw everything just now. How do you plan to make it up to me, God?"

"God," she added teasingly, exhaling a fragrant breath near his ear.

Angel Yan had completely let go of her inhibitions around Zhang Zheng. After all, he had already seen her fully exposed—there was nothing left to hide.

Zhang Zheng, unaware of her thoughts, was overwhelmed by the softness, fragrance, and smoothness of her body pressing against his.

He could barely think straight and was using every ounce of willpower not to do something he might regret. Despite his best efforts, his body began to react instinctively.

Angel Yan noticed this too. Although she frowned slightly, she didn't move away. Instead, she shifted her position slightly, finding a more comfortable spot on his lap.

"Yan, could you please get off of me?" Zhang Zheng asked, feeling a surge of uncontrollable desire welling up inside him. Desperate, he connected his consciousness to the Mind Stone, forcing himself into a state of emotional detachment. He released his grip on Angel Yan's shoulders and spoke softly.

Angel Yan hadn't expected Zhang Zheng to regain his composure so quickly. She had already decided that if he did something inappropriate, she would teach him a lesson with her Flaming Sword. But to her surprise, Zhang Zheng had calmed down, his body's earlier reaction now completely subdued.

"Can't you be a bit more responsive to a beautiful angel's body?" Angel Yan asked seductively, her eyes filled with teasing intent.

But Zhang Zheng, now fully connected with the Mind Stone, was beyond any earthly temptation. To him, her stunning figure was nothing more than a set of data.

Seeing Zhang Zheng's clear eyes, Angel Yan realized there was no point in continuing. She released her hold on his neck, stood up from his lap, and returned to her seat on the sofa. "I never imagined you had the support of a celestial computer. But using it to cheat in situations like this seems like overkill."

Angel Yan wasn't entirely convinced that Zhang Zheng had access to such a powerful tool, given his young age and Earth's underdeveloped civilization. But she couldn't deny the transformation she had just witnessed—the shift from infatuation to clarity in an instant.

"It's not as extreme as you think. There's no celestial computer behind me. I was able to resist your temptation because, in that moment, I abandoned all human emotions," Zhang Zheng explained, not wanting Angel Yan to know about the Mind Stone. After all, revealing that would likely lead to mistrust, especially when it came to matters of the mind.

Angel Yan accepted this explanation. She didn't know how Zhang Zheng had done it, but if he truly had no emotions, it made sense that he wouldn't be swayed by her charms.

However, she didn't want to let him off the hook too easily. "So, God, do you have anything to say after seeing my body?" she asked coldly, her tone now as icy as it had been seductive moments ago.

"Would you believe me if I said it was an accident?" Zhang Zheng asked, feeling somewhat helpless.

"I do believe you. Otherwise, even if I couldn't defeat you, I would fight you to the death. An angel's body is not to be violated," Angel Yan replied with a determined tone. The only reason Zhang Zheng wasn't facing her wrath was because it had been her own mistake.

"Since you believe me, I guess this misunderstanding is cleared up," Zhang Zheng said, relieved.

But things weren't as simple as he hoped.

"I'll report this incident to Queen Kaisa in full detail. How she chooses to respond is up to her. Maybe I'll become your guardian angel, or maybe the next time I return to Earth, I'll carry out a Divine Blade judgment on you," Angel Yan said with a serious expression.

Faced with this, Zhang Zheng felt a headache coming on. Neither of these outcomes was what he wanted.

"Isn't there a third option?" he asked weakly.

In response, Angel Yan suddenly summoned her Flaming Sword. "What do you take angels for?" she asked angrily.
