Chapter 60 - Chapter 60

Angel Chui's Entrance

As Angel Chui stepped out, she was greeted by an unusual sight. Zhang Zheng and Angel Yan were sitting across from each other, with Angel Yan glaring angrily and Zhang Zheng gazing at her tenderly, as if basking in a spring breeze. Angel Mo Yi stood to the side, bewildered and too stunned to disrupt the strange atmosphere between them.

"Did I come out at the wrong time?" Angel Chui asked quietly, intimidated by the bizarre scene.

"It's alright. You came at the perfect time," both Angel Yan and Zhang Zheng said in unison, turning their heads to look at Angel Chui. Their tones were completely different: one was calm and indifferent, while the other was full of anger.

The synchronized response startled Angel Chui, who felt her entrance might have been ill-timed. She considered going back and trying again.

"Pfft, hehe!" Angel Mo Yi couldn't hold back any longer and laughed out loud.

Yan Jie was acting so strangely today, and the same went for the god. Normally, the god would avoid them, especially Yan Jie. But this morning, everything seemed different. The god's gaze towards Yan Jie was no longer evasive but intensely passionate. Conversely, Yan Jie, who usually was casual around the god, now seemed shy and angry whenever the god looked at her.

For someone like Mo Yi, who had been single for thousands of years, this display was simply bizarre.

"Stop staring, you're not allowed to look!" Angel Yan could no longer tolerate Zhang Zheng's gaze and shouted loudly. Her small, delicate fists were clenched, as if ready to fight at any moment.

Seeing Angel Yan's reaction, Zhang Zheng felt that his previous struggles were in vain. These angelic girls seemed like paper tigers, easily defeated. If he had known this, he would have dealt with them earlier.

"Alright, let's stop messing around."

"The Light of the Sun from Super God Academy will be here soon. Don't you need to prepare?"

Zhang Zheng didn't dare provoke Angel Yan further, fearing she might use the Divine Blade Judgment on him out of embarrassment.

"What's there to prepare for? A bunch of kids. They can't do anything to me," Angel Yan dismissed the importance of the Three Divine Projects.

At their current level, they had barely tapped into their potential. Any attempt by a major deity to hinder them now would be trivial. It was just Zhang Zheng's lack of ambition that gave the Galactic Force and the Noxian War God a chance to grow.

Among the major forces in the known universe, it was widely recognized that Zhang Zheng was Earth's primary deity, while the Galactic Force and the Noxian War God were still secondary.

"Fine, do as you please."

"I'm heading to meet Morgana now. After you're done, you can head back and don't need to wait for me."

"Yan, I must advise you one last time. You should carefully consider our relationship. Don't regret it later."

With that, Zhang Zheng, not bothering to look at the angelic girls anymore, summoned a red glow around him and donned a black trench coat before leaving through the door.

Angel Yan was left in silence by Zhang Zheng's final words.

If it were a data match, the Galactic Force should have been the best match for her ideal god. Both she and Queen Kaisa knew this, and even Zhang Zheng himself was aware. But could true love really be determined by data?

Reflecting on Zhang Zheng and Zhixin, their data didn't match either, but every time Zhang Zheng mentioned Zhixin, his face would light up with a genuine smile, a stark contrast to his usual demeanor.

Zhang Zheng's Meeting with Morgana

After leaving home, Zhang Zheng took a taxi straight to the Angel Tower. The chatty driver kept the conversation lively throughout the ride, but time flew by, and soon they arrived at the Angel Tower.

Zhang Zheng got out and walked into the café. It was still morning, and the café was sparsely populated. Zhang Zheng looked around but didn't spot Morgana. He chose an empty table, ordered a coffee, and sat down.

Shortly after, a woman sat down across from him.

"Morgana?" Zhang Zheng asked tentatively.

The woman in front of him looked vastly different from Morgana. She wore a well-fitted beige trench coat over a black low-cut dress and high-heeled long boots. The boots' tops and the skirt's hem revealed a glimpse of her black stockings and long legs, and her chest exposed a hint of snow-white skin. Her face was strikingly seductive—a perfect example of a mature, alluring woman.

This was entirely different from the Morgana Zhang Zheng had seen before. Given the variations between reality and anime, Zhang Zheng was unsure.

"Zhang Zheng, are you pretending not to recognize me after you just made a fool of me?" Morgana was pleased with Zhang Zheng's reaction. Clearly, her charm hadn't diminished; it was just that Zhang Zheng had failed to appreciate it before.

"You actually look like an angel now. Last time, with that makeup, you didn't do justice to your face," Zhang Zheng said, attempting a compliment.

However, Morgana interpreted it as provocation. She felt like slapping Zhang Zheng, her anger boiling over.

"Have you finished looking? I'm here for business, not to waste time with you," Morgana snapped, feeling uneasy under Zhang Zheng's gaze.

"Alright, alright, don't get angry. I'm here now. If you have something to discuss, just say it. Though, I might not agree to everything," Zhang Zheng responded nonchalantly, ignoring Morgana's anger.

"YOU!" Morgana was furious, feeling her anger intensify, almost forgetting her original purpose for meeting Zhang Zheng. She glared at him, her hand raised, contemplating whether to hit him.

"I suggest you don't try anything. I'll end up defeating you if you do," Zhang Zheng warned calmly, sensing Morgana's intentions.

Morgana's temper flared. "Don't think just because you tricked me last time that I'm afraid of you. If you're brave, come out and fight me one-on-one!"

Morgana's anger was nearly uncontrollable, but her remaining reason told her that fighting on Earth would be irreversible. She grit her teeth and said, "This is better! Don't you gods pride yourselves on your strength? Let's settle who's the boss on Earth today!"

With that, Zhang Zheng called the waiter, settled the bill, and walked out of the café.

As Morgana watched Zhang Zheng leave, she suddenly heard his voice again.

"I'll be waiting for you on Mars."
