Arjun never thought he would wake up to find a woman straddling him.
Ananya sat atop Arjun's abdomen and leaned in to kiss his neck. After ensuring it left a noticeable mark, she greeted him with a smile, "Good morning, dear uncle." She then moved closer to his lips for a passionate morning kiss.
Arjun's hair was disheveled, and his pupils constricted briefly. His thin lips curled into a faint smile. He raised his hand and gripped Ananya's neck. "Ananya, you've got some nerve!"
How dare she scheme against him—she must be out of her mind.
As Arjun's grip tightened, Ananya found it hard to breathe. Her face turned red, but she remained undaunted, raising her eyebrows and smiling. "They say it's better to die for love than to live without it. A night with you is worth the risk."
Arjun was taken aback, and his eyes grew colder. He released Ananya, grabbed a shirt from the side, and put it on. Ananya touched her neck and asked, "Where are you going?"
Arjun's features looked like they were carved by a master artist—he was strikingly handsome. Just a casual glance at him could make one's heart race.
Arjun replied, "I'm going to pick out a cemetery for you. Do you have a preference for the direction it faces?"
Ananya's eyes narrowed, and she smiled guiltily. "Oh… You're quite the joker."
Standing nearly 1.9 meters tall, Arjun cut an imposing figure as he looked down at someone. The black Rudraksha bracelet on his wrist contrasted sharply with his cool, fair skin, making him seem almost otherworldly. Known as the "Sage of the City," the fifth master of his family was revered and untouchable.
"Pick an urn too. What style do you like?" Arjun asked flatly. His lips were tightly pressed together, and his eyes were slightly lowered.
Ananya licked her slightly curled lips. "An urn too? You're so ruthless. You won't even leave my body intact?"
Arjun had never encountered a woman like Ananya—bold and audacious. A hint of ruthlessness surged in his eyes as his slender fingers pinched Ananya's chin. Ananya's stunning face was almost unmatched in the Mumbai social circle. However, she was pretentious, vain, and grandiloquent—the type of woman Arjun despised the most.
Arjun asked, "You want an intact body?"
Ananya replied, "If you're willing to grant it."
Ananya was breathtakingly beautiful, with eyes that were the embodiment of innocence yet provocative—the look of the moment. Those seductive eyes could stir even the deepest desires.
Arjun suddenly smiled. The ruthlessness in his eyes slowly faded, but his grip on Ananya grew stronger. When Ananya's beautiful eyebrows furrowed in discomfort, an inscrutable smile curved his lips. His other hand slowly moved down along Ananya's waistline. The Rudraksha bracelet on his wrist was cold, and Ananya's body stiffened. Arjun's touch did not seem like flirtation, but more like a threat.
Arjun asked, "Was my nephew not able to satisfy you?"
Raj, Arjun's nephew, was Ananya's fiancé; but soon, he wouldn't be. Raj had slept with her best friend, so Ananya sought revenge. She hoped Raj wouldn't be too surprised!
"Young Uncle, what are you talking about? My relationship with your nephew is very innocent. However, my relationship with you… not so innocent." Ananya said seductively. Her red lips opened and closed—with the tip of her lively tongue faintly visible—like a temptress.
Arjun narrowed his eyes. Many women in the city wanted to be with him, but he had never been interested in any of them. He never thought he would fall prey to his niece-in-law.
The air of danger thickened. Arjun asked, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Huh?" Ananya only had time to look up before she was pressed onto the bed by Arjun. "Young Uncle…" Before she could finish speaking, a surge of force swept across her waist and abdomen. Other than a tuneless moan, Ananya had no words.
The ear-piercing ringtone of her phone woke her up.
Ananya opened her eyes groggily and looked at the date on her phone. Only then did she realize that another night had passed. It had rained heavily outside at some point, and the arms around her waist were tightly wrapped like vines.
Ananya looked at the name "Raj" flashing on the screen and lazily pressed the answer button. "Hello?" Arjun stirred beside her. Ananya hurriedly lowered her voice. "State your purpose." Her voice was so hoarse she could barely speak. Ananya got out of bed and poured herself a glass of water.
