Tang Guihua turned and caught Luo Yang quickly averting his gaze, evidently feeling guilty. She smiled, sauntered over to him, unscrewed the lid of the chili sauce, and handed it to him.
"Tomorrow, I'll go with you to see a patient. She has a fibroadenoma in her breast. If you can cure her illness, then your fame will spread far and wide," Tang Guihua said, sitting with her legs crossed.
"Is she from around here?" Luo Yang asked as he chewed on a dumpling.
"Her name is Lin Yuqing; you might not recognize her by that name. But if I say she's Lin Tianhua's daughter, you must have an impression," Tang Guihua said, sweeping back her hair.
Upon hearing the name Lin Tianhua, Luo Yang froze.
The female patient Tang Guihua mentioned was none other than Lin Yuqing, the jewel of one of the three big families of Hongyun Town, the Lin Family.
Lin Yuqing was Lin Tianhua's youngest daughter, and she had three older brothers.
Speaking of Lin Tianhua, he was a household name in Hongyun Town. Back in the day, he had taken down a mafia boss and then made his first fortune by monopolizing construction projects, which marked the beginning of his illustrious life. Today, his business had expanded to the county and city level, though his base remained in Hongyun Town and he hadn't moved to a villa in the city.
Seeing Luo Yang staring blankly, Tang Guihua giggled and lightly pushed him.
Snapping back to reality, Luo Yang grinned and continued chewing his dumplings.
"Cowboy, what are you daydreaming about? I trust you, that's why I'm introducing you to treat her. You wouldn't deceive me by pretending to have the ability to cure fibroadenomas, would you?" Tang Guihua asked, her lips slightly parted.
"Sister Guihua, I won't let you down," Luo Yang said, glancing sideways at Tang Guihua's figure.
Soft hair, tender face, laughing eyes, the gentle smile at the corner of her mouth, the smooth expanse of neck below it, so fair and rosy—truly exquisite skin.
"Then tomorrow afternoon, I'll drive you to the Lin Family." After pursing her lips, she smiled and said, "What are you looking at? Since you came in, your eyes have been wandering all over."
"Sister Guihua, your pajamas look very nice."
Luo Yang breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that he could finally gaze openly at the curves he ought to look at, without having to steal glances like a thief.
Knowing full well he was lying, she folded her arms across her chest and sweetly smiled, "Hurry up and eat your dumplings."
Luo Yang asked, "Sister Guihua, do all girls have a body fragrance?"
Tang Guihua laughed heartily, "Figure it out yourself."
As she said that, she flicked her hair, stood tall, and went back to the refrigerator to get something.
Watching her swaying her waist and the soft pajamas enveloping endless allure, each sway revealing enticing curves, the fluttering hair, slender waist, and long legs—every movement added a touch of graceful, youthful charm to the nightwear, leaving a lingering impression of alluring beauty in Luo Yang's mind.
He was so parched that he had to ask for a glass of water. After finishing the dumplings and chatting for a bit more, he said his goodbyes and left, hesitating whether to try making some money at the casino.
Ever since coming back from Xiaoshulin Market, Luo Yang had been pondering how to smoothly secure a lease on the land. He thought Zhu Li, being a regular customer at Laixi Bar, might have a good relationship with Xie Yiyao. He considered asking Zhu Li to reach out to Xie Yiyao for help and wondered if it would work.
After some thought, he decided to call Zhu Li's mobile number. Once the call was connected, he explained the situation to her.
When Zhu Li learned he wanted to lease land for farming and heard about his expertise, she also wanted to join in. Luo Yang agreed. The world's money could never be completely earned, and an extra friend was better than an extra enemy.
A few minutes later, Zhu Li called back.
"I've talked to her, she said she doesn't have enough influence with her father," Zhu Li said.
"So we can't lease the land?" Luo Yang felt slightly disappointed.
"She said her father listens very much to someone. As long as that person is willing to help, the lease can definitely be secured," Zhu Li chuckled.
"Who?" Luo Yang was curious.
The village chief, Xie Runfa, wasn't under strict control by his wife, and he thought if Xia Qiao spoke up, there was a strong possibility it could work.
Unexpectedly, Zhu Li said, "Xie Yiyao's aunt, Xia Yun."
Xia Qiao had many siblings, and Luo Yang didn't know which one Zhu Li was referring to.
Then, Zhu Li added, "Isn't there a Lianlian Fashion Store in Xiaoshulin Market? That's Xia Yun's shop."
Upon hearing this, Luo Yang realized who she was.
Xia Yun was Xia Qiao's cousin, actually only about twenty-five years old and not much older than Xie Yiyao. She was tall, naturally charming and quite a beauty indeed.
After a moment of contemplation, Luo Yang said, "Sister Kick, I want to ask for your help."
Zhu Li asked, "Go ahead."
After listening to Luo Yang's plan, Zhu Li believed it was feasible and agreed to implement it the next day.
Having ended the call with Luo Yang, Zhu Li looked at Chen Jie sitting beside her and said, "I said he'd eventually become a great figure, and I was right."
Chen Jie scoffed, "What basis do you have for that?"
Immediately, Zhu Li shared the little trick Luo Yang had planned.
After hearing it, Chen Jie exclaimed in surprise, "Did he really come up with that? Are you sure you didn't teach him?"
"He's a promising talent, and we're definitely going to profit from this."
"Heh, there's not even a stroke to his character completed yet, don't celebrate too soon. Let's wait until he truly becomes a great figure," Chen Jie said.
