Chapter 59 - Chapter 188: The Power to Distort Reality

The scene before them was almost too surreal to believe.

Dozens of Sentinel robots had been effortlessly neutralized?

How could this be?

Both the Chitauri commander and Loki were filled with disbelief.

These were Sentinel robots, formidable machines they had witnessed wreaking havoc before. Each one was nearly as daunting as a whale ship. Yet, in a single moment, they had all been taken out?

And not just one, but a whole batch in an instant?

How could they trust their eyes?

So it turns out... that human woman wasn't lying?

The claims she made weren't exaggerated; they were completely accurate...

Loki and the Chitauri commander exchanged glances, each recognizing the shock in the other's eyes.

If it were just that, it might be easier to understand; they would be stunned for a moment. But combined with the bizarre scene they were witnessing, their shock was magnified.

The Sentinel robots had turned into sand, which then transformed into butterflies?

Living creatures?!

This so-called Omega Mutant could transform the dead into living beings and create self-sustaining entities?

What kind of power is this?!

"Earthlings?"

"Is this really something an Earthling can do?"

At that moment, the Chitauri commander was utterly bewildered.

If Earthlings had such power... no, even if there were a few like this, why would they consider invading? They would have to deal with such a formidable counterattack!

Hearing this, Loki weakly countered, "No, to be precise, this individual might not be an Earthling but a god from our realm."

"Well…" The Chitauri commander, momentarily relieved, then mentally cursed.

Damn it!

"I don't recall gods from your realm possessing such power!"

Even if not Earthlings, it would be abnormal for Asgardians to have such power; it was too strange and powerful!

Wait a moment, this White Knight appears to be Thor's brother, the son of Odin?

If he were the son of the All-Father, it might be somewhat more understandable, though still absurd. The essence of this power seemed to surpass even Odin's reach.

What would the various alien factions think if they learned that Asgard suddenly had such a figure? Would their rebellion and invasion plans continue?

With Odin aging, many factions were already considering their opportunities...

Recalling the vaguely heard rumors, the Chitauri commander shook his head. Regardless, these concerns weren't his immediate problem.

Suddenly, Loki said, "Wait, the humans mentioned that there is not just one Omega Mutant but another one called the Messiah?"

This thought struck Loki with shock and disbelief.

Not only him, but the Chitauri commander was also shaken, his face reflecting astonishment.

Loki almost forgot that the humans spoke of two Omega Mutants!

If one had such a peculiar power, what about the other?

The Chitauri commander struggled to imagine that scenario, feeling a tinge of relief.

Fortunately, the one named Messiah wasn't present here.

After the incident, they needed to investigate this Messiah to understand what kind of being it was!

While contemplating, the Chitauri commander continued to gaze in awe at the butterflies fluttering in the air.

While Captain America and others were stunned, Syd felt a twinge of regret.

The moment of reality distortion caused by chaotic magic was too brief, so brief that he didn't have time to think much.

That instant of reality distortion was triggered almost unconsciously.

It was just that chaotic magic's reality alteration was hard to trigger; no wonder it was a passive ability.

However, Syd felt that with chaotic magic reaching level four, the chance to trigger reality distortion had increased significantly. Earlier, he had never even felt the possibility of reality distortion.

"Perhaps after chaotic magic reaches level five, the frequency of reality alteration will be even higher?"

Syd's eyes showed anticipation.

After pondering these thoughts, he scanned the surroundings.

Buildings that had been scattered were gradually returning to their original positions.

Clearly, Cassilius's mirror dimension was being dismantled.

The reason for this was that Syd had cut off the supply of divine light power, leaving Cassilius without the energy to control the space.

After all, he didn't want to be trapped here. Without the suspended ring, escaping from the mirror dimension would be extremely difficult.

Unless he had a magical book like the Darkhold to learn from or had a high level of space transfer ability, escaping would be nearly impossible.

He wondered how much longer this mirror dimension would last.

Scanning the area, Syd noted that the mirror dimension spanned around eight to nine hundred meters.

Seeing this, he shook his head.

If it followed the original trajectory, Cassilius, by borrowing Dormammu's power, could have created a mirror dimension the size of a city. But now...

"Borrowing my power, he can only control a range of nearly one kilometer."

"Dormammu is indeed affluent, as the master of the Dark Dimension, having dimension support makes a difference."

Syd felt the disparity.

"It would be nice to emulate Syndra from League of Legends and drain his Dark Dimension," he thought humorously.

After considering these thoughts, Syd's gaze shifted from Captain America and others to Cassilius and the others.

Having thought so much, he almost forgot the main issue.

The next moment, his hands emitted a red glow, and he floated into the air.

Looking at the approaching figure in black, Cassilius warily asked, "What do you want to do?"

Syd didn't waste words. He extended his right hand.

Cassilius's scepter, the Mind Stone staff, flew out of his hand and into Syd's grasp under the red light.

"Your goal is the scepter?" Captain America Steve Rogers asked in shock from a distance.

Before he could continue, Cassilius urgently said, "Put it down! It's a sacrificial offering to the great dark god!"

"White Knight, I know you're powerful, but if you anger the dark god, you won't have a good end!"

Hearing his warning, Syd's mouth twitched.

Ignoring him, Syd's gaze shifted to a nearby device containing the Tesseract.

He extended his right hand once more.

"Oh no!"

Seeing this, Captain America and others were alarmed.
