The next moment, without much thought, Captain America, Steve Rogers, raised his vibranium shield and, despite his injuries, hurled it towards Syd with all his strength.
Syd furrowed his brow slightly, lifting his left hand. A layer of red light appeared and caught the vibranium shield firmly.
Before Captain America could react, the shield was suddenly sent flying back.
With a thud, Steve Rogers was knocked away by the returning shield, and due to his previous injuries, he lay incapacitated for a while.
Seeing this, Tony Stark instinctively raised his hand and fired a laser beam.
However, under the despairing gazes of everyone, Syd didn't even flinch as chaotic magic easily blocked the laser.
Noticing Thor raising his hammer as if he intended to act, Syd glanced at him and then opened his right hand in a gesture as if preparing to summon Mjolnir.
Seeing this, Thor quickly stopped his actions and awkwardly laughed, "Haha, it's a misunderstanding. I just wanted to scratch an itch."
He then proceeded to scratch his back with the hammer.
Clearly, he knew that with his supposed younger brother capable of summoning Mjolnir, anything he did would be futile.
At this moment, he also felt a dawning realization: how could his brother wield Mjolnir so easily?
Looking at the figure floating in the air, Thor's eyes lit up with eager anticipation.
He was willing to bet that this person was most likely his brother!
Otherwise, how could Mjolnir obey him so well?
"I can't wait to tell Father and Mother when we get back. I wonder what their reaction will be?" Thor thought with excitement.
Noticing Thor had stopped, Syd turned his attention to the others.
With a thud, Syd's right hand swatted away the bullets fired by Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff.
"You are all too weak."
He calmly stated as he watched the bullets fall to the ground with a crisp sound.
Natasha felt a deep sense of pressure, helplessness, and despair.
The opponent seemed like an invincible mountain, blocking her path and leaving her feeling hopeless.
Not just her, but Captain America, Tony Stark, and even Loki and the Chitauri commander felt suffocated.
The figure hovering above them was like an unbeatable deity, and they were mere ants under the gaze of such a god. No matter how much they struggled, it was useless.
The disparity was so vast that even the normally persistent Captain America recognized the reality and chose not to continue attacking.
At this moment.
"Maybe only that kid Messiah can stand a chance against this White Knight?" Tony Stark said bitterly.
Natasha and the others fell silent.
Indeed, currently, the only person who could possibly confront the individual before them was the Messiah.
As they fell into silence, on the mothership miles above, Nick Fury and the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were also in a state of shock.
"Damn it, another Omega Mutant!"
These two Omega Mutants were like a cancer. How could the world give birth to such monsters?
Nick Fury's face showed anger and confusion.
And this White Knight, isn't he an Omega Mutant? How is he also connected to Asgard? Or is he really the son of Odin?
Nick Fury's expression was a mix of concern and uncertainty.
The identity of this person made him feel uneasy. As he mulled over his worries, on the rooftop of Stark Tower, the Tesseract, glowing brightly, was safely in Syd's hands.
Of course, it was shielded by chaotic magic.
Although, with his current physical condition, the Tesseract couldn't harm him, he feared that it might twitch and accidentally teleport him elsewhere.
Seeing this, Captain America and the others remained motionless, or rather, powerless to stop him.
"What are you really after?"
Captain America Steve Rogers couldn't hold back his question.
Feeling the weight of their gazes, Syd casually revealed a shocking secret.
He began, "At the dawn of the universe, six gems appeared alongside it. They are known as the Infinity Stones, or Infinity Gems. They represent space, power, reality, mind, time, and soul."
"And each gem contains tremendous power."
As he spoke, Natasha and the others displayed astonishment.
Even Loki, not far away, looked surprised and confused.
At this point, Tony Stark noticed something, staring intently at the Tesseract in Syd's hand. He frowned and asked, "Is this the Space Stone?"
"There's more than one of these?"
He seemed incredulous.
The others were similarly astonished. The thought that there were six such items containing infinite energy was almost beyond belief. If the Space Stone was so powerful, what about the others?
Just hearing their names made them feel their immense strength.
"The stones that appeared at the birth of the universe?"
Tony Stark suddenly focused on this keyword.
"How do you know this secret?"
Noting Loki's shocked expression, Tony Stark asked with a frown.
As the words settled, others realized that if these stones were from the universe's inception, either this person was deceiving them or the information was true...
If it was deception, it was fine. But if true, they were uncertain how he knew such ancient secrets.
Syd did not address their doubts, showing no intention of answering.
What they thought about it was their concern.
As for what actions Tony Stark and others might take after learning this, and their increased interest in the Infinity Stones, Syd did not care.
Or perhaps, this information was intentionally leaked to make Tony Stark and the others aware and prompt their search for the remaining Infinity Stones.
When they had gathered them all...
Syd smirked.
"Speaking of which, the Reality Stone should be appearing soon, right?"
He was curious and eager about this stone, which was considered the most powerful and also the most challenging to use.
Of course, apart from the Reality Stone, Syd vaguely recalled the existence of other stones like the Self Stone and Plot Stone.
