After testing out the boy's urine, Wenwen tossed the spray bottle aside. Unlike vampires, many of the methods from folklore for dealing with ghosts weren't very effective.
However, after the brief exchange, Wenwen had basically confirmed that this little ghost couldn't do much against him, so he relaxed a bit.
"Is this... urine?" Qin Shuang asked in confusion, his voice raspy and unpleasant to hear.
Wenwen nodded. "That's right, pure yang boy's urine, freshly collected tonight, so it shouldn't have gone bad yet."
Qin Shuang was silent for a long time before saying to Wenwen:
"You're strange. I can't deal with you, but at the same time, you can't deal with me either. Those toys you're holding can't hurt me."
He pointed to the pile of items Wenwen had prepared and continued, "How about we call it a day?"
Wenwen scratched his head in frustration. "You're not wrong. I didn't think this through. Dealing with a non-corporeal entity like you is pretty tricky."
Then, an eerie silence fell between them. One man and one ghost stared at each other in silence, as frost began to accumulate in the corners of the room. Although Qin Shuang had said they should stop, he was still trying to freeze Wenwen.
"Wait, I have one more trick!"
Wenwen's eyes lit up as he extended his hand, revealing a black glove. From the palm of his hand, an ominous black chain began to extend...
The black chain exuded a sinister aura, causing Qin Shuang's heart to race. But after observing it for a moment, he sneered.
"You're not seriously going to try and catch me with something that slow, are you?"
It turned out that the chain emerging from the glove was extremely slow—slower than a turtle's pace—making it practically impossible to catch a ghost with it.
"It would be difficult to catch you with this, but... your movement range is limited to this room, right? If I just wrap the entire room with the chain, I'll catch you eventually." Wenwen smiled.
...
Fifteen minutes later, Qin Shuang was tied up like a dumpling by the black chain, lying on the ground. The chain had taken fifteen minutes to slowly extend throughout the entire room.
Now that Qin Shuang was basically captured, Wenwen didn't rush to pull him into the prison.
"You're a tough little guy, but I'm tougher. After all, I'm a superhuman, haha." Wenwen sat next to Qin Shuang, bragging endlessly, not feeling embarrassed at all.
"Let me tell you, I caught a vampire before, the blood-sucking kind. I didn't even have to show up; I just drained her energy. Impressive, right?"
Before capturing the ghost, Wenwen had already planned to find a monster to show off to, to vent the excitement he'd built up after accumulating the Disaster Containment Facility.
Ever since he lost consciousness in the mental hospital, he had too many things he wanted to talk about, but he didn't want others to know about them. So, a ghost about to be imprisoned was the perfect confidant.
As for why he didn't confide in the female vampire... he was too shy!
After spilling everything out, Wenwen let out a long sigh. He felt much lighter, as if a huge burden had been lifted from his shoulders.
Then he reached out his right hand and pinched Qin Shuang's cheek.
"I've seen your file. You're so young, and you're already learning to..."
Halfway through his sentence, Wenwen froze. He had just touched Qin Shuang's face!
Earlier, no matter how he attacked, he couldn't touch Qin Shuang because the ghost's body was intangible.
After thinking about it, he tried touching Qin Shuang's face with his left hand again, but couldn't touch him.
So, the reason he could touch Qin Shuang was because of the black glove that had evolved from the Disaster Containment Facility!
After confirming this, Wenwen's gaze towards Qin Shuang became sinister, with an excited glint in his narrow eyes.
"You're so young, and you're already learning to have online relationships. After you died, you even started harming people. I'll educate you on behalf of your mother!"
With that, Wenwen began to punch Qin Shuang, slapping his face, spanking him, even pulling his hair...
All that talk about education was just an excuse—he just wanted to see what it felt like to beat up a ghost.
After a while, the bruised and battered Qin Shuang wailed, "Master, please stop hitting me and have mercy."
Even after becoming a ghost, he was still just a teenager at heart.
Wenwen stopped, covering his face to hide how thrilled he felt. It was really satisfying to beat up a ghost.
Then, he shrank the chain, pulling Qin Shuang into the Disaster Containment Facility.
"Ha, that was awesome!"
Wenwen casually fixed his hair, then his nose twitched slightly, and his expression fell.
"That little ghost had... boy's urine on him! And I hit him with my bare hands!
And I even touched his face!"
...
Back at the inn, Wenwen shut the doors and windows tightly and entered the Disaster Containment Facility.
Qin Shuang's ghost was placed in the first level of the facility, right next to Disaster-0001, in the Disaster-0002 cell.
The prison still had metal bars around it, which were meaningless for a ghost that could pass through walls.
But Qin Shuang just stayed there quietly, looking defeated, without any intention of escaping.
Although the bars were the same, there were huge golden runes on the floor and ceiling, which the vampire's prison didn't have.
He didn't want to escape; he simply couldn't!
"It seems that the Disaster Containment Facility makes different arrangements based on what it's holding... These runes probably have some effect on ghosts. I should take note and find an opportunity to test it later," Wenwen muttered to himself.
With another creature imprisoned, the facility still didn't seem any different. It appeared that one or two creatures made no difference to the facility.
When Qin Shuang saw Wenwen enter, he shrank into a corner, still haunted by the memory of that earlier beating.
Wenwen pointed to the adjacent cell and said with a smile, "Don't be so scared. Hey, let me tell you, there's a beautiful and gentle lady right next door..."
"Raaawr! I won't forgive you!"
Before he could finish his sentence, the female vampire lunged at the edge of her cell, snarling at Wenwen with sharp fangs, looking like a vicious man-eater.
Super fierce!
The little ghost, Qin Shuang, quickly moved to another corner...
"You too, calm down. I just thought you might be uncomfortable here, so I found you a cellmate." Wenwen laughed.
"Are you hunting monsters? You want to be a hunter? Let me tell you, no hunter ever ends well. I'm waiting for the day you die miserably, and I hope that day isn't too far away."
The female vampire suddenly quieted down, glaring at Wenwen with malice.
Listening to her venomous words, Wenwen suddenly felt an urge to pat her head. It was like keeping a grumpy pet.
"I wonder if the creatures imprisoned here get hungry. I don't want them starving to death after all the trouble I went through to catch them."
After confirming that nothing unexpected would happen, Wenwen left the Disaster Containment Facility.
