Okuagu rolled out of the way dodging a stomp that would have crushed his bones to dust. Lee ran towards the horde of the Komodo his katana shining ever bright. Reaching there he stood still, his eyes glowing sky blue as icy mist surrounded him making him look like a warrior of cold death. An illusory eastern dragon burst from the floor swallowing countless of Komodos surrounding them in shrouds of crystal ice. Lee rushed forward crushing the stragglers with cold precise slashes. The S rank meanwhile continued to try and crush the slippery Okuagu with no chances of success. "Who would have thought that you will make me reveal my trump card" roared the S rank in fury. The S rank like a bipedal dragon opened his mouths releasing huge bursts of green fumes which spread throughout the swamps. "What the hell! Okuagu roared as his skin slowly began to peel, even the Komodos in the surrounding were reduced to nothing but bones. Due to his advanced heat resistance ability, Okuagu had not yet succumbed to the heat of the acid. But the acid also seemed to have the ability to destroy living cells disregarding its heat aspect. Okuagu growled absorbing the pain in his body, his eyes lit with bestial fury. Lee seemed to be immune to the effects of the acid. With his body save for some scratches remaining unscathed. The whole environment was looking dead with countless vegetation withered and dry, The S rank ran forward sending Okuagu flying with a wicked swipe of its tail. Okuagu crashed into some trees; his bones fractured. Lee seized the slight moment of distraction to deliver a slice to the Komodos right leg. The komodo roared in pain as small wisps of mist slowly covered his leg in ice. Lee continued to run round the Komodo delivering series of slashes to its lower limbs making it to fall down to one knee. Lee however paused with a frown moments before countless of dead Komodos pounced on him surrounding him in an undead pile of teeth and claws. Okuagu struggled to get up, but could only watch helplessly as the S rank slowly advanced towards him taking big long steps. "I can't die here, at least not now" He thought slowly rising to his feet. "You misuse my power too much, mortal" said a voice in Okuagu's head. "Lord Agu? Okuagu asked with a smile. "Yes it is me and don't think because of this I'll speak to you often" the voice said laughing."Anyways it seems you will join me in the afterlife. Kid" The voice laughed. "Not happening, I'm simply resting" growled Okuagu. "I use more than flames to fight mortal'' the voice said before fading away into his consciousness. The S rank at that moment picked Okuagu up in its scaled hand, a reptilian grin forming on its face. "I have been using only fire to fight, not heat "Okuagu thought as he gained this new valuable insight. Okuagu looked at the Komodo and simply laughed, for at last everything was beginning to make sense. The komodo yawned as it squeezed Okuagu in its palm. Okuagu yelled as he could hear the crunch of bones in his body. The Komodos grip slowly began to release, with Okuagu collapsing unto the floor with a thud. The Komodo stared in confusion at his now stiff hand that refused to move as though it was frozen. Okuagu's body slowly began to heal itself, though the fractures remained. What he had done was to simply absorb the heat from the blood of the lizard's hand thereby paralyzing it momentarily. He coughed out blood, before running into the woods to regain strength before the Komodo started the chase. Slowly he channeled the heat from the surroundings into his body, healing his body ever so slightly. The S rank laughed giving him no time to rest before scratching at Okuagu's body with a massive claw. Okuagu dodged the attack all the while absorbing more heat. The S rank in anger stepped on Okuagu covering him with its massive feet. "Don't underestimate us humans" Okuagu said as he burst out delivering a painful slash to the lizard's foot. Okuagu laughed observing the pained expression on the Komodos face. The komodo hissed in anger as he observed the human in front of him that was glowing bright orange emanating heat all over. Okuagu wasted no time blasting the Komodo with invisible heat blasts from his hands sending the Komodo crashing into the swamp. Okuagu could feel his organs on the burst of rupturing. "I just need to wait a little longer, hang in there Lee" Okuagu thought wondering where his spear was. "Very well hand to hand combat it is" laughed Okuagu. The Komodo got up with a roar clawing at Okuagu who dodged and retaliated with a flaming kick to the Komodos legs. The komodo collapsed once again to one knee pondering these humans seemed to possess such ridiculous amounts of strength.The Komodo staggered up and with a roar, lunged at Okuagu with a wide open mouth full of rows of dangerous teeth. Okuagu released huge amounts of flame from his body scorching the Komodo with countless of burns. The komodo moved back some meters, reeling in pain as burns covered the length of its body. Okuagu ran forward clawing the Komodo on the legs with glowing red hot fingers. The komodo screamed in pain hot steaming blood flowing from its wound. "So far, so good" Okuagu thought as he couldn't believe the battle was going in his favor. Everything however began to look fuzzy, and the last thing he saw was a white light running past him and colliding with an approaching claw strike from the Komodo.
"Okuagu stop if you move further, you'll have a heart attack" Lee said as he wiped his blood stained katana on his broken armor. The S rank meanwhile was on the ground screaming and staring at it's now mutilated fingers. "No I will be fine" coughed Okuagu as he spat blood, the orange glow disappearing from his body. The S rank roared screamed in pain, and once again breathed out the poisonous fumes. "Did someone call for a dashing knight" said a voice as large bursts of wind dispersed the green fumes. "Shorty! Okuagu shouted in mouthfuls of blood. "I'll ignore that remark for now, go and get some rest" Gale added with a smile.The S rank ran forward eyes lit with red fury. "I don't think so! Shouted Boaruss as a massive boulder crashed into the S rank plunging it into the ground. "So squad our first combined hunt has begun" Gale said as the rest of the squad members assembled with Emerald carrying Okuagu away. The S rank roared with rage limping as bones began to form on its body covering it in some kind of armor."No I must join them" Okuagu coughed groaning in pain. "I don't think so; you have overexerted your gift" Emerald said. "So we are now even "Okuagu added with a forced smile. "Don't worry, you have done enough already" Emerald said as she carried Okuagu away.
