Rudra thought about it again and again until his head began aching and at last avoiding everyone he just walked out of the field. Till now even after his desperate tries, he wasn't even able to know a single thing about that talisman. Even a single clue could play a major role.
But there was not even a single method for this. But as it is said, when there is no way left, people try to cling to the last ropes of hope, even if they are fake.
Just like that, even if Rudra didn't believe that book of, 'Gods, blessings, and curses' and its story, as it doesn't match with even a single circumstance of Rudra. But still, he believed the other books of such type could help him. Therefore, Rudra walks towards the library.
Entering the library, without even wasting a single second he gets into searching the books related to Gods and their curses. After searching the whole library for an hour and exposing himself to so much dust in such a weak state, he finally found three books related to something similar to this.
Cough*
Rudra coughs a lot until he takes out another pill and gulps it. Rudra held those three books in his hands and kept them on a table, he opened the first book, with high hopes to God that he would find something. But maybe he was unfortunate, even after reading for more than half an hour, he didn't find anything special.
Because he already knew everything written in that book. He keeps that one aside and grabs the second book, but this was the same as well, and so was the third book.
He slammed the book on the table as he grabbed his hair and pulled it in frustration, after all even if he was not showing any reaction on the outside it was because he knew his reactions wouldn't make any changes instead people would treat him more.
But on the inside taking these jokes and teases again and again, being bullied by the seniors in the absence of her sister, was making him go crazy.
As if his mental condition was worsening, now he had started to consider that lightning talisman as a mysterious relic. Till now the high hopes he had due to finding those three books also depleted. Rudra stands up and walks to the counter near the librarian.
He approaches the librarian, "Hello, do you have any other books related to Gods, blessings, and curses available here?"
The librarian literally recognizes the boy within a second, as after the failure of that boy, his talent suddenly disappeared after five years of awakening, that boy had become quite popular in the city. Since one year that boy mostly used to come to the library.
Till now along with most of the people, the librarian had also begun to believe that all those things caused a trauma to Rudra, causing him to go mad.
Seeing the three books in Rudra's hands, the librarian says, "Yes, according to what I know there is another book…"
Before the librarian could complete he was interrupted, "I have already read that one too, tell if any other is there."
"No, for your kind information, there are only four of such type of books in this library.", Rudra now knew that he wouldn't get those books here.
Rudra's last ropes of hope fell as well. As he walked out, it was dark outside, and the only light sources were the street lamps. Rudra was shocked to see that it was already night and he had thought that he was there in the library for one to two hours.
Without thinking anything else, he walked straight towards the mansion, which was pretty nearby.
When he reached the clan, the guards opened the doors for him, but while crossing he heard the guards giggling at him. He clenched his hands but could do nothing except avoid.
Coincidentally he even crossed some clan members who at first ignored him, but later behind his back, they began to whisper to each other.
Rudra entered his room and the first ever thing he did was to open the cupboard and take out a few pills from a glass jar kept inside it. He ate one of those pills and lay down on his bed. But even here those thoughts haunted him, he was again and again hearing those taunts in his ears even though there was no one except him.
"Is that the best you can do, with this even an ordinary human can punch you in the face!"
"HaHahaha, You wish to reach the peak through such performance, then even the best skills won't be able to help you accomplish your dream!", all these people were of the same age as him, the clan members who whenever saw him struggling and practicing did nothing except of demotivating him.
Sometimes, one doesn't know when they fall asleep while lost in their grief. Even in his dreams, he didn't find peace. But suddenly a white light flashed in front of him. As soon as the light faded out, behind it revealed a breathtaking scenery.
This was the first time Rudra saw anything like this in his life. That place was the true resemblance of nature itself. High-peaked mountains surrounded the land. Majestic trees stood on the land dancing with the weaves of winds.
Huge islands flew smoothly through the air, and flew at the horizon as small dots, creating a beautiful scenario. The water streams making their way through these flying islands and flowing down with the wind created a magnificent view of small waterfalls.
Those waterfalls again changed into small streams flowing with the landscape. Multiple types of animals, such as huge elephants stood around those streams spraying water at each other, whereas a few dears were roaming in the land casually sniffing at everything
All this began to cool his anxiety and fears, his mind now felt completely relaxed and lost in this thing, he didn't think for even once that was where was he.
He sat on the green grass, and the only thoughts that came to his mind were if he could stay here forever. But unknown to him, a lot of Dark clouds began to gather in the sky, right above his head. Together with the winds which slowly turned wild, Those clouds began to rotate around each other.
Soon, these clouds began to gather an enormous energy as all those black clouds were sharing a lot of horizontal lightning. All that energy seemed to gather at the center, and with that surging energy, was let out a huge bolt of lightning that struck a tall tree, instantly setting it on fire.
The fire as if running through the marathon, rushed down the entire tree to the ground and began burning the grass as well, through that green grass, that fire was spreading everywhere like waves burning all the nearby things.
The black clouds seemed to have gone rogue as they were striking multiple bolts, which diverged into different directions as forks and were striking the ground. Even the flying islands were now enveloped by the fire.
At such speed, it didn't take much time for the fire to reach Rudra, and Rudra who was panic-stricken by this phenomenon just stood there until he realized what was going on.
For a few seconds, he didn't feel anything, while he ran here and there in anxiety, but soon the extreme heat of the fire began to take over, as the fire completely engulfed and began to burn his entire body. It was quite horrendous for someone to burn in a fire.
"Aaaaarrrgghh!", Rudra screamed in the pain and agony he was suffering through due to this.
But as if it was not enough the lightning surged out of the clouds above him and this time instead of striking something else, it fell on him directly. He was completely shocked as his entire body went stiff and his respiratory system paralyzed for a few seconds.
The very next moment he was somehow able to take a very deep breath and look that most of his skin was burnt, and his clothes had gone completely crisp. As if this was not enough, another lightning struck him, this time the sharp pain that spread through his muscles was unbearable.
He fell to his knees and slammed his hand on the burning ground. He was being burnt by the fire, and electrified by the lightning at the same time, the pain was on another level. Even surviving this for someone as weak as him, was a great feat.
It seemed like those clouds also were here only to thunder down but not to rain. Rudra was feeling a searing pain in his body. No matter where he went the lightning would always fall accurately right upon him. After being struck by that lightning for one more time it felt like he was on the verge of his life.
The lightning strike along with the fire was causing his pain to increase ten times. Again, with another thunderous roar, those clouds seemed to enjoy Rudra's pain, due to which they let out another lightning bolt to strike him.
His muscles, tissues, and Every cell of his body felt as if it was being ripped apart, and it felt like someone drilled a sword through his head.
But weirdly, the very next time he was struck by lightning, instead of feeling another searing pain, he felt as if his body was filled with a new energy. The fire also began to release a terrible amount of energy into his body.
This was like a miracle or an anomaly, that as soon as he felt that energy, his skin and body parts which were paralyzed or burnt down began to heal. His eyes became luminescent from the fire energy running inside him, and a red and orange mix of flames began raging out of his eye slots.
A lot of lightning sparks began to cackle around his whole body, and eventually, those sparks and crackles increased. Due to this the pain Rudra was feeling before, suddenly vanished no matter how many times the Lightning struck him or the fire around him tried to burn him.
It was that now instead of hurting him these elements began to empower him and infuse him with an enormous energy. But still, his head felt like it was cracking down due to that pain. To resist it, Rudra just closed his eyes tightly, and the very next moment he opened them, everything changed.
Instead, that beautiful landscape which was completely devastated by the lightning and fire disappeared, and Rudra found that he was lying on his bed in his room, his body completely covered in sweat.
Suddenly he felt chills as the cold breeze coming in through the open window in his room, hit his sweat-covered body, making him feel cold. He jumped out of his bed as he took the nearby jar of water and looked out of the window while drinking the water.
Rudra was panting as he looked outside, It was midnight when Rudra was awake due to his nightmare. But he suddenly felt the old sharp pain in his chest, and the headache from moments ago seemed to have disappeared.
This pain chest haunted him for one year, and no matter how many pills or medicines he consumed there would be no effect. But since he had been suffering through this for one year he had found a way for this.
That was to meditate.
