Rudra had been suffering through this chest pain for one year, there was no way he would ever not try to find a way to get even a temporary relief from this. He realized, that during meditation when he focused all his attention on a single point, then it was like a distraction from that pain, hence leading him to not feel that pain for a temporary period.
Rudra prepared himself as he sat down on the mat in the lotus position. He takes a deep breath and focuses all his attention on his energy flow, his kundalini. This was the first step of the saint way to begin cultivating.
Not many people have the deepened knowledge to practice the saint way until they accept someone's guidance, that is they get accepted by a saint, and then the saint teaches them about how to practice the saint way.
Of course, everyone didn't know about it, because if they did, some people in thirst for power would try it, and the powerful flow of cosmic energy would crush their energy channels if the body is not enough suitable for it.
Rudra in his calm state of mind, tries to feel the cosmic energy around him. He was cautious and finding the right moment he began to pull the energy carefully towards the bottom of his spine, where the kundalini rests.
Soon it felt as if the cosmic energy dissolved in his body, that is he had now begun to absorb cosmic energy. He kept meditating to absorb as much energy as he could from the cosmos. It was weird but with this Rudra was getting a new sensation, which he felt almost after one year.
He felt a certain change in his cells due to which he was able to absorb much more cosmic energy than he ever was able to in the previous years. He felt a new sensation in the lower end of his spine as if something was trying to move through his main energy channel.
Since his kundalini rests at the point of his spine's lower end, it seemed it was trying to move upwards through the main energy channel. But then that sensation disappeared as if something was stopping his kundalini from moving upwards.
He tried to do the same thing a few more times, but it seemed like there was some kind of barrier stopping him. This barrier is known as the Chakra barrier, one of the main reasons why anyone is not easily able to break through their Chakras.
The barrier is the final breakpoint which is before the chakras and it is quite hard to break through them, they also serve as a final test to certify that either the body is not strong enough to hold the might of the next chakra, or its Kundalini could not imply enough force to keep moving upwards.
Rudra knew that he had to increase his kundalini, but what to do if he was already weakening day by day? But still, Rudra knew some ways of extreme practices to force one's kundalini to move upwards to break the barrier of the chakra. mostly the kundalini had to be forced upwards to break the barrier, increasing one's power.
The first was to practice a technique. Different powerful techniques are powers formed by redirecting our life energy or body energy either to form the attack. In Suryalok there were different techniques, which were classified into six levels. Low level, intermediate level, medium level, advanced level, super level, and at last chaotic level. Also in every six levels of techniques, there are four sub levels, which are type 1, type 2, type 3, and type 4.
However, If someone only cultivated their body energy, then the techniques performed by them will always be weak in front of saint cultivators.
Whereas if body and spiritual energy both are on the same level, balanced with each other, then if one redirects their kundalini to flow in a specific way, one can form much more powerful attacks than the body energy cultivators.
Whereas some who only cultivate spiritual energy can only use a specific type of technique called magical skill. Which are especially comprised of spiritual energy and are known for damaging the opponents' spiritual energy. These techniques can be used by directing the flow of the energy in different ways.
To direct one's energy in different ways people use mantras. Mantras and hand mudras are things through which one can control their energy to perform different techniques. Those hand signs and mantras are used in different ways to perform different techniques.
After one gets a long experience of using mantras and hand mudras, one starts to understand more things about them. Due to this knowledge, one can even be able to create their own mantras, their own techniques causing the attacks to be even more powerful. With this one can even modify the techniques.
But where could Rudra get these techniques after all even beginner-level techniques are very expensive, and Rudra didn't have anything on him. Also even though his clan was the most powerful in the city its financial condition was miserable nowadays, due to constant conflicts with rival clans.
Which meant he needed to get some money. Of course, he won't ask for money from someone else. But then something clicked in his mind as he ran to the cupboard. He opened the cupboard and began to search for something, and right after a few moments, he took a small sack bag out of that cupboard.
That bag seemed to be stuffed with something. He slammed that bag on a table and opened it. Inside it were a lot of white stone coins. In Kashvyagiri, two currencies are used for trade purposes. White stone coins and iron shillings.
White stone coins have the lowest value, that is hundred white stone coins are equal to that of one iron shilling.
Rudra began to count all the white stone coins one by one. After a while, he finally finished his counting, "Finally, it's finished, in total, I have a hundred-sixty white stone coins.", he wondered if he could buy even a low-level technique with this much.
Rudra knew that even a beginner-level technique would cost more than one iron shilling. Therefore, he needed to earn some money. Right now the only way he saw to earn money was by selling some valuables. But what could he sell?
For this thing, he had to go to the marketplace to investigate, and according to that, he would decide his next step. Of course, even if he decided to sell something, he would have to sell something that he could afford to produce by himself.
Rudra was walking on the road that led to the marketplace. Marketplace was the area where most of the descent shops could be found. After a few moments, he arrived at the marketplace.
Entering the marketplace, at first, he spotted the stalls that lined the narrow paths, each presenting different types of items, colorful and bright clothes, daily-life accessories like bracelets, scarfs, pots designed with intricate patterns, normal flowers, headbands, and casual suits.
As he walked inside, the variety of products and shops was increasing. In the deeper marketplace, there were huge shops, filled with different types of Ayurvedic herbs, infusing the Atmosphere with a medicinal scent.
Where some were arsenal shops, which contained different types of accessories needed in combat like Armor, swords, lance, spears, bows, arrows, gauntlets, and many more.
Rudra knew that he didn't have any chance of selling the daily life accessories, because he didn't know of any way to get them. Therefore he directly skipped such shops and went for the ayurvedic shops.
Rudra spotted that although very few people came to the ayurvedic shops, the revenue was quite great, people were buying varieties of herbs, such as plants, leaves, flowers, and even roots.
Rudra began to observe the sellers and buyers in these Ayurvedic shops. With that, he realized that if he found a valuable herb in the nearby hills, he could sell it at a costly price. But where to find them, he didn't know. But there was another thing that had quite a high cost, medicinal pills.
They are rare because only a few people were able to succeed in the formation of pills and even if someone made a pill, they always sold it in auctions, as they could get more rewards for their hard work in the auction and the ingredients needed for it were even more expensive.
Also, someone couldn't make a pill by themselves, for making pills, medicine recipes are required, according to which different and particular ingredients are used in a specific amount to form the pill.
But right now who would teach Rudra to make pills? His previous Master taught him about pills and the basics of them, but he exactly didn't know how to form a pill. It wasn't any common knowledge only people who made pills knew about it and only they could teach about it to others.
Those people who make pills are alchemists and only saints can become alchemists, because of their balanced spiritual energy and body energy, they can stably form the pills for multiple hours. Gradually, the evening time began to rise, and Rudra for some reason didn't feel well and decided to go back.
But even while on his way back to the mansion he kept thinking about it. From where could he organize enough money for techniques? Suddenly, he again felt the tearing sharp pain in his chest. He stopped right there as he pressed his chest.
He fell onto his knees and vomited a lot of blood on the ground, he could feel that his energy, his kundalini was being sucked towards his chest, and then it disappeared, that is maybe something was sucking his kundalini.
His kundalini was again depleted down to the previous level where he was so weak that he had to take medicines to even walk. The pain of his kundalini being sucked out of his body was unbearable, it felt like an eternity for Rudra but he couldn't do anything as he again vomited a lot of blood.
Somehow, Rudra got back to his legs, took the medicinal pill, and gulped it down. He cleaned the blood on his mouth and carefully walked back towards the mansion as fast as he could, as it was already evening. Even after arriving back to the mansion, he was so lost in trying to get back to his room, that he didn't even notice the people who went past him.
He also lost his balance many times but stabilized himself, but most unfortunate was when he bumped into someone. It was then that he realized he had bumped into someone much more familiar. He raised his head to find his sister Mayra.
