"Mayra!", Rudra said.
Mayra stood there with her hands folded and her cheeks puffed out in anger, whereas beside her was another girl of the same age as Mayra, covered in a complete white attire. She was Vedna, the spiritual stone guardian's daughter. Just like her father, she too was a magic cultivator.
"where were you?"
"Umm, I, I was in the park near the marketplace!", Rudra stuttered a little, as he always feared Mayra in this form.
"What were you doing over there?", Mayra asks in a serious tone.
"Hehe, I was just exposing myself to a little open air, who knows nature could make me feel better.", Rudra laughed nervously as he tried to answer, all though it was a lie.
Mayra furrowed over Rudra's words, and after thinking for a while she nodded as she believed Rudra and was about to ask one more question but Vedna interrupted, "Mayra, it's getting late, we should go."
Then Vedna pulled Mayra away with her. Rudra took a deep sigh as he quickly ran away to his room. Meanwhile, as Vedna pulled Mayra with her, Mayra was staring at her very indignantly, "Why are you in a hurry!".
"Did you forget? That dealer could hardly arrange that potion, if it gets sold, we wouldn't get it again!", Vedna explained.
"Didn't you see his face when I was questioning him, for sure he was lying.", Mayra retorted, " God knows where was he gone, what if someone did something to him!"
"Did you forget, that we are going to buy it for him? And what do you think, he won't tell you even if he gets beaten by someone!", Asks Vedna.
"I have known him since he was a child, he is reluctant to share his struggles, either he is beaten or his limbs are broken, with his loved ones, worrying that it would burden them, which simply indicates his lack of understanding of others emotions, love and care for him, therefore after grandpa, as the elder I am the guardian of the younger ones it's my responsibility to take care of these matters.", Mayra explains to Vedna.
"I know therefore we are going to buy that potion, it will help him, and see we have arrived at that shop.", Vedna said as she pulled Mayra inside an ayurvedic medicine shop. The shop was filled with racks, and in every rack were kept different types of potions, Medicines, and liquids, to protect these medicines those racks were covered by a glass panel.
Vedna went inside and knocked on the counter, and after a few moments came out an old man with a long white beard, who was the shopkeeper, "Did you arrange that liquid?", asked Vedna.
The old man looked at the two young girls and then said with a weird smile, "Umm, yes, but my men struggled a lot to get that liquid, I will charge more for that."
"How much?", Mayra asks in a serious tone.
"40 iron shillings."
"40 iron shillings for a rank 1 energy potion?", Vedna exclaimed.
"Rank 1 energy potion isn't any normal potion, once consumed it will directly help your body energy to jump to the ninth stage of the beginner level. 40 shilling is worth.", the shopkeeper argued.
"Whatever, take these 40 iron shillings and give that potion.", Mayra slammed a bag full of coins on the counter, and in exchange accepted the glass flask filled with a blue-green liquid.
While Mayra, with the help of her friend Vedna, bought a potion for his brother, Rudra was still busy thinking of a way to make medicines in his room. He was sitting on the window, letting the cold wind weave through and cool his body.
Till now he had realized that it wouldn't be too easy, he would have to find a saint master to guide him, since his own saint master had disappeared six years ago when his talent was awakened. But once again the headache from his dream haunted him.
He grabbed his head tightly as he felt the searing pain as if someone nailed a sword through his skull, but he couldn't do except try to walk to his cupboard where he had kept his medicine pills.
He bumped into the table kept nearby his bed and losing his balance he fell down. He struggled to get up but wasn't able to do so, he just lay there and the pain increased so much that at last, he fainted. He once again opened his eyes to find himself in that world of greenery, but there was an exception.
Except for greenery, he couldn't see any other beauties of that world, the mountains at the horizon, tall overshadowing trees, and floating islands that let out small streams of water to create breathtaking waterfalls.
This time the whole field was filled with a dense mist, blocking his entire vision, Rudra could only see the things in the range of a few meters from him. But suddenly he heard a sound, it was as if something huge was making noise due to the friction generated by its movement.
Through his hearing, he located the direction the sound was coming from and went towards it. Tracking that sound through the dense mist he kept walking forward until his leg slipped and he fell down a small slope. He didn't get any injury and composed himself.
He just walked a few more steps when he saw the shadow of something huge in the mist, as he went closer, it emerged out to be a huge stone tablet. Looking at the base of the tablet, Rudra could easily tell that the stone tablet grew and came out of the ground which made that noise.
There were different types of symbols and words carved on it. As if they were some inscriptions. They seemed to display some kind of steps for a specific process.
'The way of alchemy: Medicine formation', these were the only written words on that stone tablet that Rudra was able to understand, "Praise the knowledge that you get."
Out of nowhere the inscription on the tablet began to glow with a luminous shine, this was when Rudra again heard the sound of someone's movement. To be careful when he searched around there was no one.
But when he peaked behind the huge tablet, the only thing that Rudra got to see was a huge tree with a broad trunk, as if hundreds of years old, but even such a thing was hidden behind that huge stone tablet easily, it was quite Massive.
Rudra walks towards that tree and notices that slowly a radiant light appeared below the tree that soon began manifesting itself into the shape of a human. Very soon that light took the shape and form of an old man with a long white beard, That figure was wearing orange and white clothes.
He looked like a saint, but what Rudra found weird was that the old man looked quite shady, and Rudra could get a faded view of the back through that human figure as if it were a spirit. That saint who sat on the ground lost in meditation, suddenly opened his eyes and looked towards Rudra.
Rudra felt goosebumps, as the saint stared at him, who even after looking like a spirit had quite a heavy presence. His eyes felt very powerful and pure.
"The process of Medicine is not so easy, only those who have control over their kundalini, that is, who use the saint way, can form medicines, as kundalini plays a major role in that process.
This process could be said very sensitive too, as it needs our kundalini, which is our life force, if anything goes wrong, it can cause a severe risk to our lives, are you willing to learn it.", the saint said in a heavy voice, without any expressions.
Rudra without thinking anything, nods to what that saint was telling, trying to understand every bit of information given to him.
"There are three steps in medicine formation, extraction, processing, and outcome. First extract the raw materials out of the ingredients needed for your medicine", saying this the saint extended his arm, and a weird bowl made out of a special stone appeared in his hands.
He kept that bowl on the floor and flicked his hands due to which different kinds of ayurvedic ingredients started to fly up to that bowl and take place inside it. The saint then sat down cross-legged and went into a state of silence.
Then suddenly a lot of energy came out of his body and began to move towards that bowl. It was his kundalini energy. The energy raised the bowl in the air and brought it right in front of him. Then the saint performed different hand mudra and chanted some mantras, during which the energy also started to perform its task, extracting out raw materials from those ingredients.
Slowly all the residue left behind started to separate from the raw materials, which were some kinds of liquids. One by one those residues were being thrown out of the bowl, indeed one needed very deep spiritual energy to stay focused like this and a strong body energy to separate the materials.
"After the extraction is done it's time for processing", the saint explained and closed his eyes again.
The saint then gestured for Rudra to come closer, so that he could observe more effectively, and started to form different hand mudras again. Using his energy the saint started to bring all the liquids close to each other.
"During this process, you need to be even more careful, this process is the most exhausting one, you need to be careful while bringing up and mixing the raw materials.
If there is even a single mistake or anything wrong in any material, it can cause a huge risk. You need to be focused and observe every single movement that is going on in the bowl and keep mixing with the help of your kundalini, or it could burst your bowl into pieces.."
The saint explained as he performed those actions. Slowly and very calmly he mixed up all the ingredients without any problem, as if he was experienced and adept at this.
"the process is still not over after the mixing, you will have to use your kundalini to pressurize the mixture and circulate it within the bowl at the same time to generate enough heat to burn down the liquid composition so that the left behind solid particles begin to concentrate, collect the gases released by the vaporizing of those liquids which are now rich with the pure essence of the ingredients.
In a delicate and skillful maneuver, reintroduce those gases into the bowl to allow them to infuse into remaining solid particles, this step simply makes the pills more effective as the gases carry the pure essence.
Then use your body energy and bring those solid particles to merge together, and to make the pills more effective, send a small remnant of your spiritual energy absorbing which the medicine could enrich its essence. After that the pill is ready.
And if you have to make a potion, just precisely generate enough heat that although impurities vaporize and behind is left a pure potion filled with medicinal properties.", that saint explained all of it in a brief that took a few seconds to understand.
