The hushed halls of the castle resonated with the sound of Aria's weary footsteps as she walked towards her brother's room, her thoughts consumed by the recent events.
A quiet sigh escaped her as her tired figure continued onward. Her once pristine white shirt was now stained with David's blood, and even her gloves were splattered, a stark reminder of the tumultuous night she had endured.
The loud sound the echo from Eric's room snapped Aria back to the present moment. She lifted her gaze to find Han standing there, his wounds fully healed. The coldness in his demeanor was unmistakable.
"Han..." Aria's voice wavered, her words tinged with pain. "I... I killed David... And I retrieved Eric's life core."
Han turned towards her, his senses picking up the profound hurt in her voice. Han slowly walked to aria as she kept her gaze on him suddenly her eyes widened in surprise as han drawing her into a tight embrace. In a soft whisper, he reassured her, "You made the right choice, Aria."
Unable to hold back any longer, tears started streaming down Aria's face as she clung tightly to Han,
Time seemed to blur as Aria slowly regained her composure. Han observed her with a contemplative gaze before shifting his attention to Eric, whose lifeless body lay on the bed, now peacefully asleep.
Han looked at Aria with concern, his voice filled with urgency, "Aria, you must hide Eric's life core now. Since it's out of his body, re-inserting it will only cause him more pain."
Aria nodded, her grip on her brother's hand tightening as she processed Han's words, determined to protect Eric from further suffering
Just as Aria was about to respond to Han, a loud disturbance caught their attention, prompting them both to start running towards the main hall.
Upon reaching the main hall, they were met with the sight of the healer tending to soldiers who appeared battered and bruised, clearly bringing news from the battlefront.
They both turned towards Charles as they heard him speaking to someone behind them. Han strolled over to Charles with a inquisitive expression on his face, posing the question, "What's happening? Why is everyone getting so wound up?"
Han tilted his head slightly, awaiting Charles' explanation, his curiosity piqued. Charles provided the explanation, stating, "Apparently, the humans have unlocked some mysterious power, possibly magic, which is causing our demon powers to weaken."
Han blinks surprised by what he just heard "well that interesting! Did john die-" but before he could inquire further, a swift, sharp blow struck his head, delivering a hard thud. Han winced in pain, his eyes momentarily squeezed shut as Aria's hand connected with his scalp.
"Is everyone alright?" Aria asked with a concerned expression. Charles responded, "Honestly, not really... I have some unsettling news. Humans have inadvertently cursed themselves, and nobody realized it. If you kill one, a curse takes effect - you become weaker and weaker until you die."
Charles says as he looked so mad and irritated by the situation unlike han who looked interested about the situation "Pfft, these feeble creatures have managed to outsmart us," he said, his voice tinged with both frustration and fascination.
The tension was abruptly halted as both Aria and Charles shot Han a disapproving look, prompting him to fall silent.
Annoyed, Han let out a huff, rolling his eyes and crossing his arms in frustration. Aria then declared, "I have to go. I need to provide my support," her gaze fixed on Charles.
"Farewell aria i will make them prepare for your chariot" Charles bid farewell to Aria, promising to make the necessary arrangements for her chariot. She nodded in acknowledgment before leaving.
Charles then turned his gaze toward Han, their attention meeting. Han stood there gracefully, his eyes locking onto Charles's, their gazes lingering for a moment. "Before you say anything I hadn't told her yet!"
Han says with cold tone as he looks away from charles eyes "Oh? Reading minds now aren't you?" Charles says with mocking tone as he walk passes han
Han was amused by Charles' comment, retorted with a sarcastic tone, "Well, I guess you're as easy to read as an open book, Charles... or should I say, Your Highness?"
A small smile formed upon Charles face as he know how han doesn't like to be formal with him he didn't mind After all, Charles himself found those formalities to be quite annoying
-after two days-
Han was angrily walking through the castle hall his footsteps pounding against the floor with frustration as he reached the door of the princes private garden
He pushed the door wide open as his eyes flashed with yellow hue "what that nonsense i have heard YOUR HIGHNESS"
